"Migrate Your Discount Card! You have a discount card in your inventory! We're transitioning to a new Effects system where you can permanently activate your discount card instead of keeping it in your inventory.
Your card will still work from your inventory for now, but we recommend activating it as an Effect for a better experience."
Certainly not yet. Especially not with the new NPC shop set up, which stock very little at the moment.
I'm saving a small fortune on a daily basis on Subata, esp. since I restock a lot in addition to the items needed for quests. And half of the items I need for Kumos quests also come from Subeta, because only there they are available in shops - for a fraction of the price on top to begin with. Thus I fail to see "an Effect for a better experience" - or am I missing something?
It would be stupid to swap my discount card to Kumos, while the majority of activity is still on Subeta. If anything, the card should be valid for both sites after being activated on Kumos!
As of this last notification, it works on both sites!
(And I've finally tried it out, since like you, I wouldn't before, and it has been working on legacy AND kumos!)
Oh! Thank you so much for this info! I missed this update! Too many of them.
No problem! There really are a lot, it's hard to keep track :)
So I activated my Discount Card and it indeed still works on Subeta.
Re Kumos - first I did the maths after purchase and it seemed to have charged the full price... So I tested and looked around...
Am I correct in believing, that I now only see the discount price in NPC shops?
The price I'm seeing for (the few available) items now kind of matches the original Subeta NPC shop price. So the possible discount sum was added when establishing Kumos shop prices, in order to make sure we wouldn't really get a discount anymore, yet other people without a card had to spend more...
