Trying out the new wardrobe, if I uncheck "lower left arm" or anything in "limbs" it's not disappearing on the preview.

When I click the drop down and select a layer, the displayed items don't automatically change regardless of the "sort by" filter that was previously selected. I have to select a layer and then select a sort by filter. In general though the sorting is not working properly. The hair category seems to work closest to "best" and even that is very circumstantial depending on how I click. Certain "sort by" choices, for example, so items that don't even fit in this category. Wheneve I use the sort by > in my wardrobe > recentlly added with any layer selected, if appears to maybe sort all items according to what was recently added without regard to layer choice. When I select ears layer and select sort by > in my wardrobe > oldest in wardrobe, it gives me a bunch of sashes on page one, and then page 2 has the few ear items i have.

Lots of improvement to be made to sorting.

Hey amandapandacat!

Thanks for the detailed report - these are great catches!

Limb Toggles

Found it! The avatar preview wasn't actually checking the individual body part settings when rendering - it was just checking if the body feature was enabled at all. Now when you uncheck "lower left arm" or any other limb, it should properly disappear from your preview.

Layer Sorting

This one was a mismatch between what the dropdown was sending and what the database expected. The filter values "Full Body", "Lower Back", and "Over Chest" were being sent as "full body", "lower back", and "over chest" (with spaces) but the database uses "fullbody", "lowerback", and "overchest" (no spaces). So those filters were silently returning no matches!

Both fixes are live now - give it another shot and let me know if you're still seeing issues with the sorting/filtering. I didn't dig into all the specific sorting scenarios you mentioned yet, so if things are still weird after trying the layer filters again, drop more details and I'll keep investigating.

Just adding that the sorting is also not working for me! No matter what category I select, the items shown remain the same.

I just had an issue where when I tried to sort for "ground" or "foreground" it was still showing the "feet" options (which is what I previously was looking at). Sometimes I get different or more correct displays if I change the advanced filters, but those specifically aren't working...seemingly no matter what.

The limb removal is working.

Okay, so when you save without the base items (eyes, limb etc) it works. However, if you go back to your avatar it "resets" as those being on if you save. For example, I realized the default eyes saved underneath my current avatar's custom eyes. I went back and delete the default eyes and re saved but apparently it reapplied the arms I'd removed. Now when I went back and opened my wardrobe, it shows the eyes in the list of "wearables" again so I will have to delete them and the arms and then save. Basically, for people who might be editing HAs but not making whole new ones...this is kind of annoying and tedious to have to continually remove them.

Not sure how long it takes to update, though, because I still have arms in my HA when I post this but it didn't show them when I was in wardrobe view. Haha.

I think the problem that's happening with sorting is that once you view a page, the items on that page at that time get "fixed" to that page. Refreshing or leaving the wardrobe & coming back right away does not fix this, but it does seem to reset after a while (like an hour or more, I think?)

So, for example:

  1. You load the wardrobe and are viewing the default "recently added" items of any layer. These will now always be the items you see on the first page.
  2. You click on the "hat" layer but you are still on page 1, so you are still seeing the recently added items of any layer. However, when you click to page 2, you are now viewing hat items - though this does not start at the top of the list for that layer. (I think it will skip any items from that layer that were visible on your 1st page of recently added items - so for me, this page started at the 8th newest added hat item because the first 7 hat items are listed on the 1st page.)
  3. You click on the "hair" layer. Page 1 is still recently added items of any layer, page 2 is the same hat items as before, and now page 3 is hair items but, again, this is not the newest items added. (For me, this showed the oldest added hair items in my wardrobe, which also meant I could not view any further items from any layer because there is no longer an option to go to the next page.)

Here's a video showing this happening, because that's probably way more clear haha.

The color & label filters also seem to stick, but they aren't on the same "numbering scheme" as the layers. So, if you click on "black" you are immediately shown the black items for whatever layer you're currently in, but those will now always be the items you see when you click on "black" no matter what other layer you change to. The results for these filters are typically less than a page worth of items, so you can't see more items from other layers because there's no option to page forward.

Fixed that issue! https://kumos.subeta.net/changelog/64

You were pretty close! It was a similar caching issue.
