I posted this in a changelog post, but I thought this would be a better place:

I did my quests on mobile last night, and I've done a handful today to test. Kumos on mobile is a mess, and these are things I noticed that could use improvement. Honestly, just take some time to complete a few Legacy quests on mobile, then take some time to complete a few Kumos quests on mobile. It becomes very obvious what is lacking on Kumos. I can complete the entire Legacy quest process on mobile without scrolling up/down/left/right. No scrolling at all. I have to scroll nearly every single step during Kumos quests on mobile.

When I go to the Kumos quest page on mobile, I have to scroll down just to select the quest giver. I have to scroll down to "Start Quest". I have to scroll down to select the item purchase option. I have to scroll down to buy the item from the user shop (and sometimes I have to scroll to the left/right to click the "buy" button - this is a real mess because it doesn't always cooperate!) The only time I don't have to scroll during the Kumos quest process is when I "Start New Quest" on a quest giver for which I've already completed a quest.

These are big time inconveniences. I can't believe this isn't being talked about more often. Legacy has the perfect process. It's all on the page ready to be clicked. No scrolling, no wasting my time.

Another issue that I've had on both mobile and desktop on Kumos is purchasing from user shops. Check it out on Legacy - buy an item from a user shop on Legacy. I get the following message highlighted in green: "You have purchased 1 Cave Moss(s)." YES!!! I need a confirmation like that on Kumos user shop page. I need to know that my "click" registered and that I purchased an item.

Please let me know if I should put these suggestions in another place, because I think these things are very important to improve the functionality and overall user experience on Kumos!

I'm on android using the Samsung default browser.

Im on a standard iphone 15 but i prefer chrome so thats the browser i use and, not to take away from your post but to add to it, i was actually come to the forum to sing the praises of kumos quests. it takes me less than 30 seconds to complete most of them and i didnt spend longer than 1min today doing any. I absolutely never do legacy quests on mobile because its tedious and requires extra steps. Id rather skip legacy quests than do them on my phone.

i can confirm i have to scroll just as much as youre saying but i actuallt had to go do another quest to verify that because when i read this post i was like...wait am i scrolling thay much? so apparently i am but i consider it inconsequential and highly prefer the current experience to legacy

the scrolling sideways for buying and the give up / complete quest being out of frame were the two things i was going to comment on as minor improvents oppprtunities!

i think the purchase verification is nice but ive got in the habit of checking my quest bar which changes to "have" item once purchased.

The purchase verification is essential, because we don't always buy from shops for quests. So there isn't a "quest bar" to verify every purchase from a user shop.

And I'm not sure how that much scrolling is inconsequential to you, but I suspect most people would disagree. Especially people who do Legacy quests regularly on mobile. There is zero scrolling on Legacy. It's all on the screen. There are no extra steps either. You simply click "Shop Search" under the Legacy quest, buy the item, press back, repeat for the second item, complete quest. It took me 9.86 seconds to complete a Saggi quest on Legacy on mobile. It took me 20.74 seconds to complete a Saggi quest on Kumos. There was far too much scrolling on Kumos and it's a waste of time.

Hopefully the scrolling will be eliminated soon on mobile, because it's a real drag.

I have to side with BrokenSafety on this. Yes, que quests on kumos have improved a lot since the beggining (bigger buttons, a remove one item button on the vault, the price filter though if fails sometimes but it is mainly working, easily to buy at npc shops) But I've give a try on kumos and on legacy and I'm still go faster in legacy even if the buttons are smaller on there start, search, buy, back, search 2, buy 2, back 2 complete vs start, scroll down, search, (scroll right sometimes), buy, search, scroll right (cause the complete button is always off reach) buy, complete

I think most of the scroll downs are going to disappear cause atm the building and advice notes take the space and those will get removed eventually.

But anyway, when I click "Complete" on legace the reward page shows up in no time and when I click "complete" in kumos it gets a few seconds of "thinking" before load the reward page
