I'm working on improving the speeds that you get on Kumos browsing around, and trying to get it to legacy (and faster!) speeds.

So I need you to help me - where are you finding it the slowest? is it particular pages? is it moving around entirely? is it at particular times?

it's pretty consistently slow for me, but it does get noticeably slower when questing :(

For me, it takes 2-3 seconds to load any page, but like SighFi said, questing is noticeably slower for me. For a couple days I tried to do the 24 quests required to get the 10 csc, but there was enough lag to make me get frustrated and give up. I've mostly been trying out Kumos in the evenings (like 6-10pm ish Subeta time), so I'll try it at some other times and see if there's any difference.

Are you noticing any speed improvement today?

it still felt pretty slow for me today, though i think it's been slower in the past? unsure :'D if there's been changes since around 1pm-ish subeta time i've unfortunately had my quests completed for a bit, so i can't test that particular thing at the moment x_x

unfortunately not :( I just tried a couple wizard quests, and the lag comes when I hit the "complete quest" button. Each time, it took seven seconds by Subeta's clock for the quest to complete and load the next page. The shop search and NPC shop purchase pages take the same 2-3 seconds to load that the rest of Kumos does.

site is slow all around, but as other have mentioned it really rears its head while doing quests. the issue we run into consistently is the loading of user shops, it takes a solid few seconds to load and then register clicks, which slows down the process of questing, which makes it feel really sluggish. kumos shop purchases go quickly however, so it might be something to do with how many shops are displayed on the page? just a guess, but there def something up with load and response times when purchasing from kumos user shops. typing on forums is also sluggish and it feels like a cointoss on if it will send or not.

tend to potter around the site around 12am, coming onto kumos for questing.

Definitely echoing that it's the worst during quests. It isn't too bad most of the time, maybe an extra couple of seconds compared to Legacy, but it was really bad a few days ago. One of my quests ran upwards of ten minutes because the site was stuck on a loading loop.

Agreed about quests being very slow. I don't understand why, design wise, we can't just buy them on the quest page and avoid having to load separate pages entirely. It seems like that'd speed things up significantly.

Major speed improvements! At times almost the same speed as old Subeta.

Also, holy crap, for the first time doing all the quests on Kumos felt much faster than the old questing on Subeta.

noticed an improvement, yeah! quests still hung but not as badly as before, but we do open things up in different tabs whilst questing, so that might be a client side issue. will keep an eye out for more improvements, because damn the autoprice on kumos is quick. would be nice to have a little notification to say that it's finished processing, or at least a change of the text colour- rn its white bg and light grey text. also a reminder of the csc since its tucked away, would love to have a visual indicator somewhere when you've proc'd the 1st and 2nd tier of csc, but this isn't relevant, but would be greatly appreciated!

yup, questing has quickened noticeably, the issue with usershops hanging seems to have resolved itself. still a little bit of a wait (3-5 seconds) when completing quests, but its all good. much smoother and nicer!

I have to be honest. I don't like Kumos. I don't like the way it looks or functions. :( It's very frustrating. I miss Subeta as it was.

Besides that, nothing works properly today. Pages get errors, things are slow.
