This is the third month in a row where I haven't received the subscription item as it's released, and since it's been 24 hours since release and I still don't have it, I have to make another ticket, I think the item release time being pushed back further and further over the last few years has officially messed things up for me.

I originally timed my subscription on the 13th of the month so that I would get the item either immediately on release or the next day back when they used to release it around the 12th of each month, because I don't like the idea of having to wait between the release and my renewal time to get it because I'm impatient and I want it as soon as or not long after it's released rather than 10+ days after, but the item being gradually pushed back further and eventually moved to the end of the month or the next month has caught my renewal time in an unusual place.

So now I'm stuck because if I want to get it back on track, I'm going to have to cancel my subscription and then subscribe closer to the end of the month, but if I do that, I might miss out on next month's item since I'll have to wait for my current one to run out first. So if I cancel it right now, it looks like I might have to wait until the middle of February to renew it, meaning I might miss out on January/February's item, especially if the delays have caused the items to now be shifted so that they're at the start of each month instead of the end, because I won't want to re-subscribe until right after an item is released which should be the start of March (maybe I'll wait until after February because it being a shorter month might complicate things even further).

And there's no guarantee I'll be able to get the item that I missed out on on Black Friday, I think they forgot to bring the subscription items back for last year's Black Friday because they said they would but then they didn't and there were so many other items that were brought back that I think it got overlooked.

So I don't know what I should do to stop having to make a ticket every month if the item keeps on not automatically being given to me. I guess one way to resolve it is to see if there's anyone willing to give away or sell their item that I missed out on so I can still have it, but I'd prefer if it didn't come to that. What do you think I should do?

Is the subscription item meant to be given out ASAP? I got last month’s right on the day my subscription renewed, which was the 2nd. I’ve only been a subscriber for a month though.

Maybe the timing was moved to match the individual’s subscription date or that could’ve always been the case, and you would need to wait until your subscription renews.

The item is meant to go out on your renewal date if it renewed AFTER the item's release, but my subscription currently renews BEFORE release so I'm supposed to get the item AS it's released, but because the release has been pushed back over the years to the point where it's being released more than half a month after my renewal date, I think the system has gotten confused. That's why I don't know if there's any other way to fix it rather than unsubscribing, waiting until a new item is released, and re-subscribing, but likely missing out on an item that's released while I'm still waiting for my current subscription to expire. Unless the staff can manually change my renewal date so I don't have to unsubscribe and wait for it to expire before I can subscribe again.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it's so hard to explain.

I do think I understand. You originally subscribed on the 13th, since the special item used to be released on the day before. But now items are being released after your subscription cycle. And you want your cycle to be better timed with future releases again.

Given the release dates seem to be rather inconsistent, I don’t know if re-subscribing will help much, since this could happen again. Like I got the December 5 bonus item on January 2, despite subscribing on December 2. So I had to wait a month anyways.

Possibly, once you get this month’s item from support; you could cancel right away. Your current subscription should end on the 13th of this month, right? It sounds like you can re-subscribe during the first week of February if that’s the case.

I don't know, I'll have to see. It might be 13th February instead, and February being a shorter month might make things even more confusing depending on when they decide to release the next item.

EDIT: I made a suggestion thread because I thought of a way that this can be resolved for myself and other users who may have this problem, since it sounds as if also had this problem but just waited instead of making a ticket like I did.

there's no mistake; the item doesn't get "automatically given to you" when it releases, and i'm not sure who told you that. when your subscription renews, you receive whatever the most recent item is as of the moment of your renewal. so the next time your subscription renews, you'll get the garnet fox figurine. then next month the february item will be released, and the next time your subscription renews after that, you'll receive the february item.

there's no point trying to push back your renewal date just to get it closer to the item release, as that's inevitably going to end up "out of sync" again. just wait your turn.

I don't agree with the above sentiment. When I first subscribed, the monthly item was released on the 18th of that month and I subscribed on the 19th (so the item came immediately upon my subscription and nearly every month thereafter.) I checked the archives for when subscription items were first released, and it was on the 12th of the month (meaning the item release had been pushed back 6 days from its inception to when I initially signed up.) Because the release date got pushed back again and again, it's technically a month behind now. December of 2024 had no monthly item at all, pushing it into the next month. So January's item is actually December's item, if that makes sense. If an item released in the future gets pushed to the 12th or after, that means an item for sure got skipped entirely for a month!

Having said that, I just don't want an item I'm entitled to receive to fall through the cracks now that the release date has been pushed into the next month and it doesn't automatically land in my inventory upon release. One of these days when I think about it and have time, I'm going to go through the past releases to make sure I'm not missing one.

i'm not sure what you mean. it has always been the case that sub items are granted on the day your sub renews. the only way it would be possible to "miss out" on an item (assuming you are subscribed the whole time) is if two released within the span of one payment period.

looking at the news archive it appears the previous item (zircon snowman figurine) was released on december 5, which means you would have received it when your subscription renewed on december 13. the item before that (enamel monarch butterfly) was released on october 31, which you would have received on november 13; and the item before that (gemstone pumpkin patch) was released on october 1, which you would have received on october 13. and so on and so forth.

are you saying you didn't receive those items when your subscription renewed on those prior dates?

@ Frenchi I haven't received an item on my subscription renewal date in years. That's why I'm afraid I may have missed out, because it's difficult to track now that it's running into the following month (edit) and not being deposited immediately, as it had been.

Final edit: "Thanks for subscribing! This month's special item is now here. A Garnet Fox Figurine has been placed in your inventory!"

This was placed in my inventory on 1/5/2026 without filing a ticket or anything. Like I said, it never arrives on my renewal date. And if it did, it would be late by a month since the releases have been pushed back.
