I was looking around the site and wiki and found that there were a lot of enemies that are related to plots. Since I am new and was obviously not here when the plots first unlock, are those enemy just not possible for me to get anymore? Or in general, is there any way to go through past plots or are they just retired forever?

Also when will there be new plots? Is there a plot/event calendar? Thanks.

i am not a battler so i don't have exact info on battle opponents, but i believe that sometimes old challengers are brought back at different times of the year? this battle guide might be of some use to you in this aspect! have a look around the battle forums and there are other users who can help you more with battling than i can!

as far as plots go, we haven't had a TRUE plot in a looooong time. right now the site is focused on moving to a new website with brand new coding and there isn't a lot of extra resources (or staff, to be honest with you) to dedicate to anything else at the moment.

you can read about old plots here. subetalodge is a fantastic resource that is run by fellow subetans (not staff). it's also a great place to look up items & their uses!

thanks for all the links! Especially the event calendar one! I see Luminaire is supposed to be all of December, which means we’re still technically in the Luminaire event period. Can we still receive/give gifts? I actually had assumed that it was over by the time I joined!

Also I was looking at that exact battle opponent guide and saw all the site event opponents which is what prompted me to ask because there isn’t any unlocking method for those opponents and from what I gather it seem to be only available during the plots. It’s a bit unfortunate that we don’t seem to be having plots anymore, but it totally makes sense if we’re running low of people n resource. Do you know how long the migration has been going on? Want to see if it’s possible to gather an estimate of when everything could be moved

Soooo holidays don't run exactly to schedule. Best bet is to check the news, on the legacy site there will be a start/end day or time for current holidays if any are running. But after Lumi is new year celebration stuff too 🎉 All events tend to have opportunities to battle special opponents, usually lasting a bit past holiday or events end. As for plots so far yes you'd have to be there to participate, there's really no way to go back to past events because they added or helped shape lore for aspects of this site. They have stayed before they're looking into ways to reintroduce prizes or functions such as being able to make a zentu, I myself missed that whole plot so I I ever want one another user has to make one or I will need an elixir. And plots of course have super unique opponents. But there's plenty of regular and cash shop unlockable ones to work through too!

As for site moving it's been happening in phases for several months now, it's taking time to implement chunks because sometimes when they go to move pieces so to speak it can break the function of something else....

About zentu is I think you can still adopt from here? https://subeta.net/explore/shengui_guo/bathhouse/adopt.php I made one a few days ago and ended up abandoning it because I didn't like the birthday (was thinking about a new year pet as my second lol esp since my first is a Christmas pet) and from what I can tell it seems like I can still make new ones...is there a limit to how many zentu anyone can make? if there is that's so sad how I abandoned on when I haven't even realized this :'(

Haha I'm definitely seeing stuff being broken eveywhere. On kumos my pet's attached minion image is broken, and clicking on achievement in profile give me a 404 page, and a few games on the legacy site are taken down. I'm actually surprised that the move has only been in for a few months, I thought it was years lol, hopefully the complete move can happen soon, fingers crossed.

You pretty much caught the last whispers of Lumi 😂 Typically the cottage is daily, this year is the first year of no daily new items but picking out years with few new items given, and I also saw they didn't have a coal bandit event this way too 🤔 Mystery Melody can be daily too if you feel the desire, but you can also chose to do it when able or not at all.

Hmmm maybe I'm thinking of another species? Or maybe they moved zentus to being made that way..... Which I likely missed the news on that if that's what they did, but it's also super possible I just don't remember the correct species that was only available to make after the excavation event.

And yeah stuff breaking like it does IS part of the reason for moving, but the site is so legacy at this point and stuff isn't always stable after they move it, so it's on batches. Iirc wardrobe was one of the first big codes switched over to kumos.

So just to clear this up, the species was thinking of is the bhakoru! Bhakoru creation/adoption was tied to participation in the excavation plot from years back, but the page to make them has actually been broken for a while. They also have no elixirs to easily morph a pet into a bhakoru... but if you do want one, you can still get one by making a pet into a Nostalgic Bhakoru!

It's really nice to see a new user. The battling community is super nice and friendly in my experience. Also, I'm impressed that you've trained your pet so much while not even being here for a week! Hope to see you around more in the future. :)

Thank you for clearing the species question up and thank you so much for the gift!! Given it's the holiday right now I have tons of time on my hand which is how I get my pet leveled up (thru battle grind xD). Definitely still navigating through the thing with old and new site and the many activities that dont seem to have a consolidated place to find but definitely enjoying it so far!

(I also did not realize gifting is still open! When i tried last time it said gifting has finished and that I should check under my tree for gifts, but somehow through the receiving link I was able to find the gifting portal....I must've been on the wrong page before

The site can definitely be tricky to navigate right now but I feel like the community is generally quite helpful, at least.

The 'putting presents under trees' style of gifting is over for the year, as that's Luminaire-specific and ends on Christmas, but you can send gifts through the Arctic Frost Gift Center year-round!

sadly Im beginning to think the days of plots/mini-plots etc are over with, short of the usual site holidays, the rare chance of the gellies showing up we havent had anything in years
