I know it's too late to ask for this now but I'm putting it out there before I forget but we could really use some new ornaments. I think the reason I have little motivation to put up a tree and keep making similar ones every year is because the selection is so stagnant. Lots of baubles and generic shapes and the animals ones are nice but I compare them to the ornaments I see in real life: the plaster pegasus I made in Kindergarten, the lace doily snowflakes, the antique elves made of felt and pipe cleaners, the cute measuring cup with a little mouse family that you can plug a light into and all of the various character ornaments from Hallmark.
I see so many cool themed trees online and at Christmas events and I feel so limited here on Subeta. Aywas allows players to put any items you want on your tree as an ornament. I don't know if that would work on here but I love the idea of hanging D&D dice and figures from my tree or using lifelike dolls.
I think it'd be rad if artists could recycle existing items to make them usable on our trees! There are some items that really lend themselves well to becoming ornaments. Off the top of my head and based on what wrote...
and its other colors - just rotate it a little to be upright to me this already looks like it's dangling remove the stick and you've got your very own Luminaire Rictus some ingredients could be used to add a natural bit of decor to a tree some minions/etc. remind me of figurine-style ornaments that I often see for sale IRL. I think this one would look more "natural" translating to an ornament because it doesn't have the same weight or motion that the art on other items has--he kinda looks like he's floating in space, to me.
I also think it'd be awesome to have more ornaments based on NPCs and lore around Subeta. In souvenir and gift stores I often see miniature ornaments based on the place you're visiting, or some other event associated with the place. The art museum would be a great place to include such souvenir ornaments based on the art pieces that are on display there!
Editing to add: I poked around after making this post and found that we've already got items that are models of buildings in Centropolis, in the Blue Building shop:
