although we will not be continuing the twelve tinted moons event into 2026 and beyond, i wanted to create a spiritual successor to this event. i loved how much activity it infused into the community, and i want that to continue.
so! with that, i want to introduce PAINTS! if you are a CW releaser, feel free to release cws in the same color scheme! we'd love for others to join in and to see more items in these colors.[/font] [/box][box=#ffffff][/box][box=#ffffff][font=verdana]PAINTS is a monthly event through which cw releasers can come together and release a variety of items in the same color palette or matching a proposed color palette.
approximately 2 weeks before the start of a month, myself or will post a color palette. any releaser who wants to participate is invited to do so and will have ~2 weeks to create and submit items in this color palette. at the end of the 2 weeks, or myself will post a masterlist of all of the items matching the theme and ping our event ping group. [box=#ffffff][font=verdana]if you would like to participate, here’s what you do: 1. get an item recolored in the color palette provided above - you can either submit an item with colors fully inspired by this palette or pick one color and get an item that matches. all items do not necessarily have to have all of the palette’s colors in them 2. submit it & wait for approval! 3. when the item is approved, ping with the item name and preview of the item - please keep in mind - if the item submitted doesn’t match the palette, we will not include it in the post! - there's no limit to how many items you can submit in the color palette, but only one item will be included in the post per releaser 4. after the ping is released for the month with the list of all items, make and share a fun HA using the palette items! who knows, you might receive a little gift...

when the month begins, myself or will post the master list of all items we were notified of. if your item is approved later, feel free to ping and he will do his best to add them to the master list for that month.
in terms of releasing, we’d ask that the item is released as public & unlimited for the duration of the month that it is released in. after that point, feel free to do whatever you’d like with it! warehouse & bring back later, lock for friends only, retire, whatever! [/font][/box]

[box=#ffffff][font=verdana]for this event, we'll be pinging our event forum group (called PAINTS, tagged below). please join this group if you're interested in participating! each month, this group will be pinged twice: 1) for the palette announcement, and 2) for the masterlist of cws. these pings will occur about 2 weeks apart (at the middle of the month for the palette for the upcoming month and at the beginning of the month for the list of cws)[/font]

I am so excited to see how this progresses! I'm definitely going to throw my hat in the ring and try to make some recolors to fit this first palette, especially since I have the wig that's being used as the inspiration. Definitely need more items to match it! <3
