I have 396 saved outfits and over the last two days I had to redo 68 of them because they had the wrong saved avatar images associated with the code for the outfit; however, when you tried them on, the correct outfit appeared and could be re-saved, because the list of items on layers was still correct.

Unfortunately, the only way to reset them was to re-save them and delete the old ones. I did save one of these for you to look at, though. I noticed this happening occasionally in the past but thought it was probably just something temporary with site loading during events...until 68 avatars were affected and I couldn't find some of my old favourite ones because the images were wrong both on the new.subeta.net wardrobe outfit collection pages and also on this page: https://subeta.net/shared.php

Because I named all my outfits, I was able to tell that something was wrong when the character in the avatar didn't match the name of the avatar: for example, the avatar name was Ford followed by the date (yymmdd) but it was a picture of another character, Soundwave, that was identical to the image which was correctly attached to a Soundwave avatar. After I had fixed all 68, which took forever, I had found all the old avatars I was no longer able to see on my account. (I have several avatars I use repeatedly, like the one where Ravage is wearing a kimono and smoking a pipe, or the ones that are just pictures of animals in the wild, or some avatars I specifically use during Morostide or Vesnali or Luminaire, and many of those were missing.)

It appears to be an ongoing problem because two Morostide avatars that were fine during Morostide and I used them then were borked yesterday, Mesothulas (the spider boi) and Charlie Morningstar--in Charlie's case I had made a newer version holding the Lucifer doll, but the old version was now showing an image of a completely different character.

Anyhow I'd rather like not to have to go through 396 avatars again to find and resave the missing ones.

I use a Windows 10 computer with either the latest Firefox or, when that gets weirdly slow, sometimes, the latest Chrome.

this is the original Mesothulas outfit from 31 October 2023 and I'm seeing Shattered Glass Ravage there instead (I'll edit the post if I don't see her when I save the post)

However, though the image shows Shattered Glass Ravage, the items listed are correct for the Mesothulas avatar, enabling me to "try on" and resave the avatar with the correct image.

Unfortunately, though, I really need the correct images to show in the collection of outfits so I can find my avatars again, and since this has been happening as recently as October 2025 I would like it if y'all could find out what causes this and make it stop happening.

My wardrobe is having the same issue!

My saved outfits from years ago (several pages back) are being replaced by newly saved HAs I've saved the last few weeks. The newly saved HA is overriding the image of the old saved HA. But when you click "wear" it will load the original HA.

It's just hella confusing and concerning because I don't want to end up losing the images of my saved HAs or the ability to see my layers. My old saved HAs are the most important thing to me on Subeta. I go back and use my old HAs often and also use my saved HAs for inspiration on how I layered backdrops, etc. This glitch is making me nervous I'm going to lose my saved HAs :'( I hope there is a way to fix this!!! D:

The items are clearly not the ones that are on the saved image. That's supposed to be an avatar of Callista, a black Lolita character, wearing a Victorian gown, holding a parasol, and posing with a cheetah kitten--and it's been replaced with an image of her sister Camilla, posing with a hyena and wearing pants. I think all my avatars are public, so if you try to wear it, you'll see Callista there.

The image for this one is actually an old avatar I recently reloaded in order to remake it, because I finally got the rose bride bg that it goes with. I then DELETED the original avatar this is an image of, how weird is that?

this is happening with me to avatars I saved RECENTLY. it's a real problem. I save avatars too. I do cosplays, so I have avatars saved of various OCs, but also of characters like Ilisidi, Anthy Himemiya, Katsuki Bakugo, Dipper Pines, Mabel Pines, Bill Cipher, Ford Pines (actually most of Gravity Falls LOL)...

Happening for me too.

I was going through my outfits and noticed there were a few duplicates so I deleted the extra ones …. Until I clicked on one and realized the picture shown did not match what the actual outfit was.

Very upsetting since I also use my old HAs all of the time and will pull inspiration from them. And there is no way to figure out which outfits have now been deleted ☹️

Saving them is absolutely not fixing the problem but it does temporarily fix the problem where I can't see half my avatars because suddenly half of the ones on a page are Arianwen instead of the character they're supposed to be. Which is weird, because I haven't loaded a single Arianwen avatar on as an outfit for months.

I am worried that my space contest avatar will get mapped to another one (perhaps even a character base wearing nothing but underwear, because I have several characters with numerous layers of shading and makeup and ears/ear hiders and such) and people will not be able to see the right avatar and I will lose votes because of it...and that I probably won't be the only person this happens to.

Currently there is no option to use the wardrobe on Kumos.

Mine is doing it but I used This trick from Ryuu. if it hasn't been sorted.

This has been something my Wardrobe has been struggling with for years. As Emmie1989 said, the trick about renaming them works. It's tedious to have to do this on a regular basis, and I hope this finally gets fixed soon.

The outfits in the regular wardrobe are showing up finr for me, but if I view my outfits on Kumos, they're all messed up, showing overlays for other outfits. I'm afraid to enter them into contests in case it enters them as that rather than how they actually are in the wardrobe. It doesn't help that clicking the "edit" button brings up an error. There's a specific contest I want to enter and I'm worried the outfit I want to enter won't show the right overlay before the entry time runs out.
