before i go wasting a loyalty box on a name change, i want to know what the character limit is. on the name change page i see the MINIMUM is 3, but i'd like to know the MAXIMUM as the name i want to change to has 14 characters...
and also, i cannot seem to USE my loyalty box(es)! this new layout sends me to the legacy news page whenever i click 'use item'. it also states "While more functionality is added to this page, you can access all item actions on the legacy item page." but clicking the link ALSO just sends me to the legacy news page, with no way to access any other page. (no links to inventory, profile, etc)
what is happening to my beloved pet site?! :( i've been playing for nearly 20 years and this is the worst state i have ever seen it in :( do i really not have access to my loyalty boxes while all this is going down? (also the ability to LOCK items seems to have been taken away? does that mean since i cant move my loyalty boxes to my vault right now either, that they are at risk of being DESTROYED by a random event?!)
somebody explain things to this old lady T_T please and thank you!
i figured out how to get into my legacy inventory at least. and all but one of my boxes are indeed still locked. I'm posting a reply to my own post cause it wont let me edit it or delete it :(
and i already changed my username! if somebody would be so kind as to delete this entire post id appreciate it, as i cannot seem to even edit it OR the previous comment i made :(
@ Mrs_Frequently for the record, you should really be using the "legacy" site (which is still just the normal default version of the site) for most things. the kumos site is only worth going onto for the things that are specifically located there. i know wants us to use it more to get accustomed to it so it's less of a shock when it replaces the current site, but so much of the content over there is incomplete or broken that there's no point using it for anything except for the exclusive features like kumos quests or outfit contests.
[edit] also, to answer your concern about items getting destroyed—as you've already figured out, you can still lock and vault items from the regular inventory page, but there are also no longer any random events or site features that can steal/destroy your inventory items. the only downside of not having something locked/vaulted is that you might accidentally select it yourself for certain things that get rid of the item (e.g. fragging), though those features often have limits on the rarities that can be used (so account-bound items would typically be exempt).
