I have a few pets I want to make custom profiles for but honestly haven't a clue where to start in that department. I haven't ever really used CSS or HTML, so I am starting at the very bottom. I will appreciate any information on where to start and what to do. I am willing to learn so don't feel like you will be overwhelming me with information. I am just at a loss of where to find that information/ what I am looking for.

W3Schools can be a helpful website for learning the basics.

The tricky thing with pet profiles is that in order to fully customize them, you have to work around Subeta's default HTML/CSS, so it's quite a bit more confusing than starting from scratch.

I know I want to do a memorial page for Alistair, something nice and pretty. And I have always wanted to do something for Nibblets. I have a whole story and such written for them. Again I am not even sure where to start. Despite being older I never got a chance to get into these things when I was younger. I just remember glitter and MySpace XD.

What I meant by asking you what you want to do, is do you have a visual idea for the kind of layout you want to end up with? It's a lot easier to put together a layout if you know what you want to create, I think. And also... like, I'm kind of bad at giving broad advice, but I have a lot of experience with pet profiles so I'm sure I'd be able to help with something more specific. x)

If you learn best by doing things yourself, myself and some others have made pet profiles templates that you might be able to learn from! Editing templates can be a good way to learn some things with CSS, since you're seeing how things change when you edit them.

My apologies for the 14 year gap. I have been going around and looking at various peoples pet profiles to get an idea. It took me an EMBARRASSING amount of time to check yours despite you saying it RIGHT THERE. (You can lead a horse to water but you cant get it to check the person helping you apparently)

I know for Alistair I want something simply, like you pets in the rebirth, but with different colors. Its a memorial to him so I want to write a big ol block of text

Nibblets is a subeta character. A simple undead lab rat with a story. I have seen you can get quite aesthetic, like the way tumblrs pages used to be ;_;

Which leads me to my next question. When using a premade profile, how difficult is the editing of like images, information, and colors. Will I essentially demolish the entire thing with one miss click. (Setting up a realist expectation of how frustrated I might get XD)

No problem, I'm pretty notoriously bad at replying to things at times myself so it never bothers me to have gaps in the conversation. x) And haha I could also have definitely, like, linked to my topic or shown a few pets as examples or something.

I just realized that like all of my pets in that group have different layouts. Incredible. Like Ciro's profile, or one of the others? I am really into the simple, scrolling page aesthetic. x)

This is an unhelpful answer but I feel like the difficulty of using premade profiles varies. My older profiles aren't really all that well-coded, but I tried to make them fairly straightforward to edit, with colors separated out and such. The coding is separate from the typed content like story and etc, so I feel like it would be tricky to blow the whole thing up by accident, unless you like.. accidentally delete a big chunk of coding lol. I'm also pretty happy to help people fix pet profile issues if they run into any, so if you run into issues using premades (mine or anyone else's), you can always ask me for help!

I really like Liora's for Nibblets. I want to write a lot for them and that one seem like it ont get angry at me for it.

Followed by Yvetta and Fanto for other pets. Still not sure what to do for Alistair so I will wait. I've wanted to do a custom profile for Nibs since I first joined.

Liora's profile template is pretty old, has some pretty badly-done areas, and also doesn't display correctly with the upcoming 'legacy' pet profiles on Kumos, so I'll recode it first, but I can let you use that, sure.

Do you want the 'statistics' section? Like where I wrote the physical/mental stats for her?
