Turn off hustler sale banner?

Hi! I can not seem to find it, so forgive me, but is there a way to turn off the site banner/alert for when the Hustler has a new item for sale?
So far, it doesn't have a proper toggle in user options, but you can use customCSS to hide it. Unfortunately, the downside is that it may hide other notifications that use the same bit of coding as well. :/
And before I forget, here's the code to hide the Hustler banner:

There really should be an option to toggle these notifications on and off; I don't care about the Hustler and it's extremely annoying to have these notifications pop up every day.
<p>So it&;s either add 3-4 more ads to each page, or have the hustler alerts. Which are annoying -- but they drive purchases that wouldn&;t otherwise happen. we need those purchases to keep the site running, and if we remove the banner (as it was off for two years, we have a pretty good sense of the metrics here) we lose a chunk of purchases that have to be made up in other ways (ads, moving more functionality to CSC/gold accounts or laying people off).</p>
<p>I&;m trying to be as transparent as possible here, we give you the ability to add custom CSS to this site & kumos for a reason -- however those banners are going to be used for downtime / other information.
If I do not want to buy item, I just click the 'X' and boom, it is gone and does not come back... well, until the next time a new item is announced! Also, will be happy with banner; over ads... any day! Peace!
