Do you put everything in your wardrobe or just items you like/think you will use?

I used to put everything in there but since I got the wardrobe achievement I have been much more selective.

Everything - my goal is ultimately a full sp wardrobe. :’D it’s been my goal ever since i started subeta ahaha

Although now i’ll admit collecting cws that i like has taken a bit of a priority in recent years instead! Those i’m more selective about.

I only put things that I think I will use in my wardrobe, though I do have old stuff in there from before I started doing that. Since I generally only make male avatars, I don't have a lot of use for more feminine wearables. I end up giving away a lot of the items I don't use, since I know others will make good use of them.

you'll get there some day! For me, it took a lot of intentional buying. If I waited until I got there naturally I'm not sure I would have got it to this day.

No, I never got the achievement for a full wardrobe. Achievements aren't really things I care about. I just like to dress up my avatar, so I collect just the items I think I will wear. :)

I just keep the items I use. The rest I sell in one of my shops.

If I can add it, I'll shove it in there and forget about it until I need it xD any doubles are put into shop stock

I tried to be selective at first, but once I realized I couldn't to get the 15k achievement I just put everything in there possible. Now I'm pulling things out bit by bit to sell or trade off. There's so many items in there and it's taking time to decide on some things. I'll eventually have it pared down to what I'd find use of! And hopefully able to help others get theirs filled or find items that are harder to come across. I am into CWs but about to pull them all.out and redo my owned list as I think I missed adding or subtracting some at one point or another which means I'll find some of those to part with too.

I am mostly into floral and horror and anything fantasy for wardrobe so stuff not related will absolutely be leaving first.

when I finally got the achievement, I put on my headphones and some good music and took a few hours to go through my wardrobe to empty it back out. I'm so obsessive about what I keep in there now. Even if I like a whole set, I'll only pick my absolute favorite colors/versions. I only have a few CW items and I still love them all, heh, so I will still keep those for quite a while still, I am sure. :)

~ This is such an interesting thread. I wish I was selective either way. I really only use about 1/4 of the items in my wardrobe, but I like to put everything in there on the off chance that it'll spark some kind of inspiration. Like the different animal heads from Spells Galore or random wig box hairstyles. I just never know what I'm going to want.

I love the concept and colors of a lot of the old retired wearables, but I wish they didn't stand out so much when combined with the newer drawn ones.

I try not to remove or sell items from my wardrobe. I've done that in the past, taken out some more pricey items like old Sbtq line items and such for contest prizes or trades, and then regretted it a couple years later (like now) because they're harder to come by and they'd be perfect for a HA. I think the achievements for sbtq lines have made it impossible to buy some of the retired sbtq (including items I used to have) that I actually want to use. So that makes me kinda sad, learned my lesson on that one.

I put everything in thinking " I'll put it in for now and go through it later." Well, it's years later and I still haven't gone through it, and I just keep adding, lol.

Heh. Luckily for closet hoarders like me it's impossible to completely fill your wardrobe, (too many unbuyable CWs at the very least). Currently my wardrobe is a bottomless pit of shame, as I tend to use quick stock to shove everything wearable into it without even looking. Once or twice a year I'll go through it, and mass donate or frag a lot of stuff I don't wear.
I just checked, and right now I'm sitting on over 22,300 items.
Definitely past time for a purge.

I am more selective. I think there's some achievements I will never get anyway, so I don't really try for them unless they seem fun to me. but for me it's more fun to dress up my HA, and that's easier to do if I have less things to go through, and only have things I like in there.

Jost items I like. Otherwise I think it would get overwhelming quickly
