So with legacy completely down this morning, I'm starting my day with Kumos quests.

1. I won't be able to play for long, because my inventory (which happily mixes locked and normal items, as I've just noticed on my very 1st visit there) will fill up and I cannot stock to shop or vault - at least haven't yet found a way.

2. I found the vault and I can search for items, but there is no way to choose how many of said item I want to remove. Probably it'll either remove or erase all (couple of hundred) No, I'm not trying anything, because this site is still in testing mode and at the beginning, when during questing I accidentally chose "take from vault" it (at least twice, that I noticed) ate all hundreds of each of the items and I couldn't be reimbursed.

So I need to buy the items for a high price from the small list of user shops, because I cannot remove them (safely) one by one from my vault. And never again will I use the quest built in options vault/user shops.

Or, did I take the risk, all would land in my inventory, which again would stop me from questing, because my inventory would explode and (providing the items wouldn't poof anyway like so often, when I moved around masses of items), I'd "have too many items in inventory - remove some!", which - see 1) - I cannot. ???

That's odd. I remember there being a remove one option on the quest page.

As I said, there is the quest vault option (providing I needed the item for questing), yet I won't use that anymore, since I lost a ton of items, when I once did. It wiped the whole batches.

No problem nor need to apologize. I babbled quite a lot. Notwithstanding could it be, that even on Kumos we would want to retrieve a single item from vault for eating or reading or putting into wardrobe or whathaveyou, esp. when Legacy is down, and we can't.

I know what you are talking about myself now, I tried to do the quests this past Friday the 28th of Nov. and one of the items that was asked for was in my vault and I had 5 of the items wanted in there and when I went to remove just 1 there was no place to remove just 1 only remove all so I just cancelled the quest and didn't do anymore of the quests on this site due to that. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. At the time as far as I know both the Kumos and Subeta sites are no longer having issues, but the vault problem on here is still a major problem.

There is a link on the page that takes you directly to the vault search, filled out with the item. There is a dropdown there, where you can choose how many items to take out.

What do you see on the vault page?

If I want to retrieve an item from vault, for whatever use/reason: I take the link from the header "My Subeta" drop down, which takes me to https://kumos.subeta.net/account/vault There is a "category" choice underneath each item and a "remove" button. As I said, I didn't try any button there, afraid of the vault emptying all items into inventory, or whatever possibly happening with the categories. Maybe it would only remove a single one, I don't know. Maybe "remove" would take me to to a choice of how many, but honestly, I'm too scared to test and tempt fate, lol.

edit: I'm questing now and used the in-quest "Your Vault: xxx available" link, which takes me to the item with also category choice and a "remove" button. No amount choice on that page. Will it only remove 1, if I use that button? Or will that take me to another (amount choice?) window?

Thank you for clarifying. However, why will we need an extra step, when we are in the vault already? Why not have an amount choice right away?

The remove from vault button does not work on my iPad (8th Gen), using Safari on iOS 18.6.2 so I can't do my Kumos quests using it. Which is unfortunate because that's often my main mode of accessing the site.

Tapping, holding down - nothing works. Pretty sure I also tried on Firefox a few months ago and had no dice. It has never worked for me, and I've posted about this before, to no avail. :(

Make it more obvious that the remove button doesn't do the remove yet, but asks you how many. by making it labeled "Remove..."

Buttons inside list items are known not to work well in Safari, and on iOS in general.

It'd be better to put links in the "dropdown" (it's really a popup list not a dropdown) or make it an actual dropdown - and try using the "touched" event instead of "clicked" maybe? though you might be already.

but honestly I agree that it's a better user experience to have multiple links rather than an extra step to get to the links. Right click open in new tab is always an option then and it's a good one. The [x] and [all] links take up less space total than the Remove button, so it's not a matter of saving space.

I am doing the quests today and as of right now the vault problem at least for me is fixed and now if a quest ask for items and I have multiple items of what they are asking for the button is back to remove 1 or how many you want to remove as before it wasn't there and all it had was remove all, thank you for fixing that and streightening that out for us. I really appreciate that a lot!
