Hey, hey! It's been a while - revisiting this site after several years' hiatus, and I have a question about Mystic Spindles.

It used to be that you could purchase intelligence points for your pets using points earned from playing Mystic Spindles. Indeed, the pet list and point prices are still visible in the Mystic Spindles shop. However, it doesn't seem like intelligence points are purchasable anymore (it won't allow me to click on any of the options.)

Did this mechanic go away, or did it get transferred somewhere else? I saw somewhere that intelligence boosts are now random when playing Mystic Spindles, but I don't remember ever experiencing this. If so, when did it change, and how likely are random boosts? (Also, thank you in advance to anyone willing to answer this!)

Hi and welcome back! You can still purchase intelligence points for your pets. Do you have enough points to buy them? The cost for 1 point increases the higher your pet's intelligence is. Mystic Spindles is a good way to get the first 1-40 points of a pet's intelligence.

Boosts aren't random. I don't think that's a thing for Mystic Spindles. You might be thinking of pet jobs. There's a small chance your pets' strength, level, or intelligence increases every day you collect your pets' income.

Oh, I'm an idiot, haha. I was looking at intelligence points instead of spindle point cost thinking I had enough points to purchase something (I did not.) No wonder I couldn't click anything. :'D
