It doesn't seem to restock anymore.

It's being bought out shortly after it restocks. Hopefully it's a real person(s) and not a bot.

I occasionally see stock in the legacy Spells Galore but yes - it seems like it's been bought out shortly after restock. When I do see things, I seem to have more luck getting whatever's at the end. People seem to target the first item in the shop.

I see stock in the Kumos' Spells Galore more often but for whatever reason, mostly the same handful of items. Lots of Monkey Brain! I see a lot of Strange Animal Figurines too.

i have noticed several shops with hundreds of items from spells galore that have inflated the prices of its items. there is never stock in the shop when I am questing. i also have noticed this with alexander's books requests. many of them are now 50k+ when they were cheaper before.

Spells Galore items are in the Mystery Box today, if that helps! I'm buying several things from it and saving them for quests.

And yeah, I just checked a few items on the shop search, and there's one user shop that has over 100 of every item I checked (and it seems like over 100 of every other item on the site too!). Not sure how they're managing that. I managed to catch a Spells Galore restock, and there was nothing but 3 of one common item. I bought one, went back, and the others were already gone.

they are now doing it with the shops on Kumos side as well. a lot of shops used for quests are now bought up and empty.

Its probably the beszt shop for cheap crystal fodder too since most items sell below 1K sP

Spells Galore is no longer stocking on Kumos - apart from 9 rares/super rares. Kumos Wizrd quests ask for Spells Galore items solely. That's why Subeta's are bought up. User shops are still cheap with around 5k.

So, I've been off the site a few years now (and missed it like crazy while I was gone) and I've been trying to catch up and buying from this shop, for crystals and quests. When I read the title of this post, I kind of felt guilty, lol. But I realized, I don't buy them all completely cleaning out the shop. I do try to leave a couple of each items for the other people. I hope the people hoarding stop doing that. I do remember back in the day, moderators would step in and fix the issue, like talk to the users or something.

I honestly think someone's running a script on Spells Galore. I've been watching it these past few days, and every time there's a restock, everything sells out methodically, always starting with the first item in the shop and working towards the last. Doesn't seem to matter what time of day or night I check either; it happens every time. I wish staff could check up on it.

I too started to wonder more and more if it was a script and not a user, as someone would have to literally sit on the website ALL day and systematically buy everything out. that's a lot of work and dedication and it seems to move far too rapidly to be human.

I refreshed for a bit yesterday and today, and it indeed seems like items are being bought systematically one by one, always the oldest (top left) item in the shop. Did you (or anyone else) make a ticket for staff to check since this seems like something they should really be made aware of if it's possibly a bot?

Staff are always so nice answering tickets. And this seems serious enough to at least make them aware of it, or to put our minds at ease if there is nothing going on. If you're still too afraid, I can make a ticket and refer them to this topic if you want, haha.

Keith has been made aware of this issue over on the subeta discord - he stated that since he has no plans to make major changes to the legacy site, the shop will likely just be removed entirely soon. ;-;

oh no :O Where will we get the items that are sold there, if the Kumos SG isn't restocking either?

he’s apparently increased the rate of which the kumos spells shop restocks.

I don't like having to go to the Kumos site, but I suppose that's the whole point of having Kumos... everything will be moved over there eventually lol. Crotchety ol' lady Balloon will just have to adjust ;)

I think a lot of us don’t care for the kumos shops tbh, change can be difficult. So i feel you lol ;-; you’re not alone. ♥️ it’s definitely a big change we will all have to adjust to. Hopefully it all goes well!
