It's nice to get retired items from challengers but it does rather flood the market. What if the cornucopia were openable? Chooseable would be grand, I can easily see 4 food items poking out of it. Wouldn't want there to be too many to get or they would become scarce again.

That sounds like a great use! Maybe you can open it to get one random item. There's already a bunch of retired Fireside squash items that could go into the pool. And since those items are edible and can be used in Fantine baking recipes, that will help prevent those items from flooding the market.

I prefer the idea of it beinng chooseable or else some items might be harder to get and force the prices back out to silly amounts.
