Currently, the system to send items/stickers to friends seems to be a bit nebulous. It defaults to one user, for us it is one who is inactive, and for another we know, it defaults to a now deceased user. This risks accidentally sending an item/sticker/what have you to the wrong user, and also for one who has a lot of friends, finding a specific username in the drop down is sometimes a bit staggering, especially done on mobile. There is also seemingly no way to change it.

We propose having a system where your 'favourite' friends populate the drop down, to help ease of sending and also to maintain a smaller group to those who you send to often. Also would alleviate risk of accidentally sending an item to a wrong user. Maybe having the list of who is in your fav list would be that in the drop down? Muscle memory!

This is coming from us helping a friend with the sticker achievement, so we've been manually placing their name in for 100+ stickers haha, so it'd be nice to just shoot them off with the drop down.

It'd be a nice QoL update, and while we understand we can just use the gift center or type in the username in the non-buddy section below, our browser defaults that to passwords, so it's a little tedious, even moreso if it's sending stickers as we are quickly finding out.

I double checked because I also though this was already the way it worked and you are right it needs changed. If someone has an especially long friends list or is doing something with a lot of people for a holiday just dividing it between favorites and other friends might not be efficient enough. What if we could group friends by collections and favorites. Favorites float to the top of the friends list when SENDing to a friend and then the friend group for that type of item. The sticker group, plushie group, beanbags est. But when you are ADDing to their collection then the group floats to the top followed by favorites. Although I'm pretty sure the only collection you can add items to directly for a friend is the stickers.

honestly just looking for a fix for being able to change the default user on the send/add list. don't want to bother staff with any misclicks, and adding stickers was more time consuming that we would of liked. good idea though, could be very helpful for give away and white elephants to have a more curated list when it comes to larger friends lists. we often help with newer users we bring into the site, so while the list grows, the default user issue becomes more and more noticeable. can't imagine what it'd be like with users with 100+ friends.

manually copy and pasting usernames isnt really feasible in the long run, so hoping at least the favourite friend curation is reinstated!
