Why devalue an item like this ???

If it was a newbie who didn't know any better I could understand but a long time player ?

ive been seeing a lot of this actually especially with kumos quest items, i HATE when ppl make quests more inclusive and user-friendly grrrrrrrrr >:K i had an r58 item (worth 2k) priced at 700k then these jerks went ahead and made it more affordable for others. so inconsiderate!

I think it depends on what the item is. I sometimes price things lower if they've become overly inflated.

Yeah, depends on the rarity and ability to get the item. Something not being very available in user shops doesn’t mean it’s actually worth the markup, just not restocked frequently enough to keep it in user shops when it becomes popular or hoarded by resellers. We have similar rl issues with people buying toilet paper and water (sometimes hand sanitizer) during emergencies to gouge the common consumer. And if the price is so high it’s less likely to sell then the difference is to fast track the inevitable drop instead of wasting everyone’s time with small discounts. Also, sometimes it’s not that it was priced so much lower but that there were lower prices and those were all bought out so because the last item is so vastly different from what the next shop is priced, it makes seem like it’s drastic. But again, it all depends on the item in question.
