Pet Overlays - Edits & Recolors!

Howdy, friends! I've decided to open up a shop for pet overlays in my quest to get more CSC / sP for pet slots, the respective potions required for colors, and treasure chest slots/items in general. It's all pretty straightforward after that. Because of very kind people, all current potions required for pets have been taken care of!

There's currently no slot limits to worry about, and you can request however many that you like - just give me some time to get them done, and I'll do them one at a time rather than in batches. That way, if you decide you need to cut back any, or have a good dozen+, you'll at least see some results! I'll make sure to post with updates as I go.

I will do complicated edits/minor redraws, but I will not do full redraws. Additionally, if you would like to have some different parts from different poses/colors frankensteined together, let me know and I'll see what I can do. (See: Ian, my Steamworks Malticorn, and Yesenia, my Sweetheart Keeto, in examples below for frankensteining.) I'll also just do the simplest recolors or edits that you want, it doesn't have to be super complicated!

All you need to do is take this form and reply here. I've got the thread tracked, so you don't need to ping me - I'll ping you any time I've got an update or confirmation, though!

At this time, I'm only taking CSC and sP as payment.

To make life easier, 100 CSC = 10 mil sP, give or take, so I'll be using that pricing for everything. ie; one overlay will cost 100 CSC OR 10 mil sP. You can mix and match if you want, as well. idm!

So when your commission is finished, I'll set up a trade for you to make an offer on, and we'll be off to the races! I may ask for an additional cost if an edit is especially complex, but it won't be more than a few mil sP

Pet: Spindrift a nymph/ocean spirit who is playful and curious. And a bit of a magpie when it comes to pretty "treasures" on the seafloor. Base: Experiment Edits: Make it a beach? if possible maybe have a few shells (starfish/sand dollar?) along the hip/back in the vein of the glade/harvest pets (not necessarily as much of it as some glade species have) Extra: Idea of color for the water more beach inspo I can look for some shell inspiration when it is less close to bedtime, but honestly, any seashells would do.

ohhhh I love this concept so much for a ! I can easily picture the green ectoplasm as ocean water with the body being the shoreline, if that's what you're angling for.

yes that exactly xD. "make it a beach" was easier to type and i figured it would convey the idea well lol.

Pet:

Indigo Crystal A creature that lives in a wasteland that was the target of a cult attack. They've been living in a cave for some time and the skin has hardened into a crystal-like state. This could be because they like collecting the blue gemstones they have found in said cave. They're quite vicious, always biting first and never asking questions later. Approach with caution! Base: Common Experiment Edits: Hoping for a more rock/crystal-like texture for them? Especially along the back/tail area. The dark patch of green can be changed to a darker blue and maybe the peach color she has can be changed to a lighter blue? I'm also thinking about adding a tail tip of some kind, like maybe a sharp fin or even like a spiked ball for protection? I'd also like her eyes to match the color of her minion, a Blue Building Beast. Extra: I mainly just want the gal blue, lookin' like a tanzanite almost? At least maybe a bit shiny if that makes sense? I really like the blues from the Dusk Cadogre/Zasaba pretty good but don't mind if you find something else similar too!

Subeta is STRUGGLING for everybody right now, according to the discord server, but kumos forums loaded enough for me to be able to pop in and say that I think these colors will look really good with the 8001! I'll get you added to the list once the site proper works because I don't want to break anything

It definitely was rough on the desktop last night too, infinite loading for sure ; w ; Thank you! I've always loved the design of the 8001 but believed it just needed more blue hehe! Thank you so much! Hopefully Subeta will get better about the loading on Kumos too!

ia that some blue is going to really make the design pop, and I'm already saving a few tanzanite color varieties to ref off of. So that'll be fun to figure out - I love making things shiny.

I started working on yours properly today, and it's still in progress obviously - the image quality is so wildly fuzzy for some reason rn? I'm going to fix that, but unfort I haven't been able to find the 400x400 image for the 699. If I do I'll start it over again and the 200x200 will just be the tester LMAO

But how do you feel about this for the sandy coat color/texture? Trying to do that as seen from under clear water kind of effect. Ignore the ears I haven't started making that look like surf/water yet.

Also what color did you want to make the eyes? I forgot to confirm that.

perhaps every so slightly more golden/warmer? but looking good otherwise!

update number 2, coming up! I have a few ideas on what I want to do with the sea creature features but I was working on sprucing up the colors in between opening accounts at work rofl

If there's anything you want to add markings-wise (like the original 699 markings or something else) lmk! As well as any tweaks in general of course.

(apologies for pinging to kumos, the forums are being all meh again on legacy). That looks wonderful!I especially love the little bit of water/seafoam color on the front paws!

subeta really got us bouncing between kumos and legacy ROFL but I think? Legacy is good again? I'm glad the seafoam on the paws is something you like, I thought it might be a nice touch to bring more of the foam/surf into the aesthetic.

I'm playing around with the glade/harvest-esque additions. Got some starfish, shells, kelp, barnacles, and coral shelves, but nothing is flattened and I can move/remove/change things. Also some fish in one of the tails for fun.

Pet: [pet not found] Base: Spectrum Celinox Edits: Could you make her look like how she looks in her profile? A brown glade celinox with green crystals and green eyes. Lots of flowers. Extra: If that's too difficult to do, I'd be fine with a common celinox base or glade celinox base. I just feel the pose of the spectrum base captures her spirit and essence best.

Oh that wouldn't be hard at all! I'll add you to the list - she looks sooo cute and I love the spectrum/blacklight celinox pose, it's very dynamic and lively.

those look wonderful! I will say I'm not entirely sure what is on that front shoulder (and back/hidden rear leg?). I don't know if it needs more definition or shadow or what, I just personally can't quite make out what it is?

that'd be the coral shelf! I'm a little iffy on it so it would not break my heart to remove it or alter it to make it more discernible, or replace it with something else. I was trying to figure out a good way to do sand dollars but just could not make it look right, so gave coral a shot - I think it's hard to tell when the color doesn't stand out that much.

ahh I see. Yeah it sort of blends in a bit with the colors? I don't know if a brighter pink/red might stand out more or not? Or blue? And I can see how a sand dollar would blend even more! I'm sorry I'm not a better help or if I'm making it difficult.

I don't! Right now they're in a sort of semipermanent state of open unless I somehow get like 20 people wanting recolors/edits, which I would highly doubt but. ROFL it is something to def consider.

Oh I like this kind of steely lavender blue - I'll give that and red/pink both a try here in a bit and see if that might do it. Maybe try to define the edges of it a little more with more of the coloring. But I'll def consider a ping group if folks think that's a good idea.

Pet:

Shiloh Base: Glade Ruffie Edits: the pose of a glade ruffle is perfect, so basically im looking for a recolor like you did for Taegen based on my dog!! Extra:reference 1 (bandana is not necessary lol) belly colors lol if you need better pictures let me know! c:
