Items with "mask" in name not working

So, up until just a few minutes ago, I've gone this entire event using items that contain the word "mask" instead of an actual mask for many of my HAs and dances have gone through just fine.
And according to the news post on June 14, this should be just fine.
But suddenly as of about 6:00 PM, that's no longer the case.
Was the mask you were trying to use one you had recently bought/added to your wardrobe? There's been reports recently of issues with wearing newly purchased items (even if they show up fine in the wardrobe).
- No, it was an item I've had in my wardrobe for quite a while. The item I was using was a CW called "Sweetest Rose of the Masked Magician".
I have definitely been seeing the other glitch that you referenced though.
Ah, figures. Was it just the one you ran into an issue with, or others? I'm guessing it/they were just missed. I think enabling them to count for dances is a manual process.
- I had been dancing with it all day. It just randomly stopped working about five minutes before I made this thread.
