so my name is rena and i have been a longtime player since 2010! every now and then i remember that this place exists and come back to it in hope to make new memories that i'll end up remembering fondly and maybe make a friend or two

i'm a western goth cowboy irl with a big love for art making, video games and singing! additionally i love some animanga and other things including working out, cats, d&d and caffeine

besides subeta i play grundo's cafe (it's a neopets knockoff) and chickensmoothie!

my current goals on this website involve working on my pets some more and filling up my wardrobe with things i actually use

i love LOVE mail and interacting with folks so if you need anything or would like to come and yap to me about something that you're passionate about or similar feel more than free to! o7

update: i ended up changing my username because i had a spare loyalty box in my inventory and i felt to need everyone know that i am totally normal about fma /lh

though i didn't really play d&d until this year (i can tell you all about it sometime if you're down! it's a homebrew sonic campaign and it's been fantastic so far!)

d&d might be the greatest thing ever. tbh never done anything homebrew outside of the d&d lore/areas bc mmm tieflings beloved. another friend of ours is doing a transformers campaign and they have their own stat blocks and everything??? amazing that other fandoms can snuggle right into the different roles, ttrpgs are so good, we do not deserve them, truly...

whenever our cat walks in on a session, it's always explained away as a drunken tabaxi since he just yells at us and grubs around the carpet, even during combat sessions lolol.

also welcome to collecting dice, even if you havent started. it will start. it is a pox and a plague of all players, even if your campaign is digitally based. the click clacks calls for all of us.. (also if you're the DM/GM you can scare the shit out of your players by rolling the dice as a stim but they expect/assume you are making a check). hi can you tell that d&d is our special interest, we could blather on about it for so long

that sounds very intriguing!!! what i've been doing is that we have one major campaign going on and when the gang can't get together we play oneshots with every who is available that day! my main character is a little gunslinger/ranger named powder who also happens to be a mobian fennec fox (mobian is just the fancy term for all the anthropomorphic characters within the sonic verse) with a tragic past because i always have to traumatize my ocs for some god damn reason /lh

the campaign itself takes place in a world known as "mythius" which is mobius (sonic's home world) but high-fantasy and it's great!

since i'm here i wanna thank you for your gift too!! your message got a good laugh out of me akhskjd

if your d&d character doesnt have a tragic back story then are you really playing d&d? /j we need to depress our little funny blorbos. though we wanted to do a suffering games arc ala TAZ mc elroys beloved but since we are .... very attatched to our main player character, yo say the least, he refuses and we cry and pout bc while we havent seen the suffering games since we find it difficult to listen to d&d podcasts if they dont have our funky lil dudes in it, it'd be funnnnn probably,,, until we get angy/upset at the table, but they dont call it table top therapy for nothing!!!

wogh that all sounds neat! ngl we dont know much sonic lore, out of only watchin the movie (havent gotten around to watching the 2nd one) and from playing sonic heroes a lot as a kid ahhhhh. bet you have a tonne of stories!! its always so fun to look back on past note taking and wonder how the hells you ever got there/did stuff. nnnmmngh love dnd so much

I WISH I could sing well. I love to sing but am not naturally talented unfortunately. My artistic talent lies in writing and I won't complain, it's nice to have a way to get all the "inside things" out and to be creative! And so far my menagerie of animal companions don't seem to have complaints about my singing to them xD

If you're interested in working on your pets you should totally join in and chat with the Pet Enthusiasts Group (it's in my signature). It's just an open forum board where we chat about all things pets, get inspiration and motivation, lament our lack of inspiration and motivation, answer prompts to help creativity spark, and sometimes have events! There's some D&D folks in the group too!
