Hi garden fairies and gnomes and all our other subeta friends and companions!
April is coming up, and I want to do something different this month. Some of you may know from the LRVT forum as a founding member. For the last 12 or 15 years, she has not only become a subeta shenanigans buddy and co-editor of The Subeta Excuslive Newspaper, The Pepper, but a real-life bestie as well.
This winter she and her beloved got horrible news, and have since been on a fight journey as Mr. Roll fights pancreatic cancer.
In support of Mr. Roll's journey and in support of our one and only Tea_Roll, I want to invite you to turn your HA's purple for April.
I'd also love to invite you to join us on a support walk, which will take place in the Pikmin Bloom App, where we can gather around to show our virtual love and support by taking as many steps together as we can in honor of the Rolls.

To join the HA Contest:
- The official contest is here. You can see our (very simple) rule that you simply must go wild with purple! ends April 17.
To join the Pikmin Walk:
- You do need the Pikmin Bloom app. This is a steps-based game by Nintendo, and it's a lot of fun!
- Once you have the app and your account is set up (you might have to reach level 10, which is fairly easy!), you can click this link or scan the qr from the image. .
My thoughts are with both Mr and Mrs Roll.
I couldn't imagine what they are going through. Hopefully Mr Roll with be able to overcome this, then it will just be a bad memory

ohh a virtual walk is a neat idea. Someone I watch on YouTube lost her husband to pancreatic cancer a few years ago, and she has been a big advocate of trying to make the treatment more accessible for people and is doing an IRL walk....soon. I don't remember when, but I pledged some for her.

They have had a lot of research for pancreatic cancer, it is sad and scary that the survival rate is 13%. For Mr. Roll they are saying his is curable, it's just a long road of chemo treatments with a very scary surgery that he must endure. I wouldn't mind knowing who you're watching on YouTube. She's probably doing the PanCans Purplestride walk on April 26th. It's a 5K that is hosted in a lot of major cities, thank you for supporting her in that. 💜

I should clarify she's not a full time YouTuber, I don't think she even makes any money from it herself. She's a cohost for another YouTuber's show that he does once a week. She's a hair dresser and cat-centric social media manager for her local shelter. I just know of her because of YouTube.
