Humbly requesting some love for GoOutside, perchance a winter sport tab? Or i'm sure Melody would also like to help 🤶 So, we have the snowboarding jacket set, and the snowsuit pants, we have the ski slope, the hiking pole and book item descriptions tantalizingly mention skiing... but we don't have skis or snowboards! The only skis we have are water skis, and the only winter sports we can do is snowshoeing, skating, or fishing 😞 We've gotten some lovely ice skating items in the last few years, so i'm hoping for some more winter sport wearables <3

Ideas:

Skiing For simplicity's sake, there are two main types of skiing that are the biggest: Cross country (also called nordic), has skinny, pointy skis and low, soft boots that aren't attached at the heel. Generally armpit height poles, with a "basket" - a snowflake or scallop or other flare at the bottom to prevent sinking into the snow. (Recreational skiing normally looks more chill than this but i don't want to use photos of non-famous people) Alpine has broader, blunt skis and bulky, tall hard plastic boots, and (barring some exceptions) the binding keeps the entire foot flat to the ski. Poles often have smaller to negligible baskets

Historical skiing Single pole, wooden skis with leather bindings on beaked leather shoes (the shoes the are based on were historically used with this kind of ski binding!). I know i always desire less modern looking variants of wearables

Snowboards! (I don't know anything about snowboarding)
Ideas: -Normal standing HA pose with the skis/snowboards on a foot layer. Poles for held layer? Posed arms? Many possibilites -Ground or foreground? wearable of the equipment standing up in the snow next to/behind the HA, for when you need a snack break 😌 -Actively in use in fun poses, utilizing the new hide body parts feature? I love the -Relevant background items like slopes (different activities leave different marks in the snow, eg. off-track alpine loopies, cross-country uphill herringbone), ski lifts, other skiers/snowboarders

Hockey Hockey skates and equipment is quite different from figure skating, and we do already have these two items for hockey

Some less common ones Skijoring! Dogs are probably the most common, but horses are also popular, and reindeer, depending on country. Might be a bit difficult to fit around the HA but ruffies, kumoses, legeicas, neelas etc would be adorable joring :) And if drawn as a foreground item without snow they can do double duty as a canicross or rollerskating wearable, using the running items from GoOutside

Snowmobile? Perhaps a bit niche but i really do think the new toggleable limbs could be huge for wearable vehicles 👀

Pulk: Cargo pulk Pulk for small children Probably even more niche but more baby wearables could be cute [item=Woven Baby Sling (Base 1)]

These bgs are screaming for some climbing gear to wear with them

Oh I love this idea! Big plus one. And could also throw some winter safety gear in there:

  • helmets (ski helmets are different from hockey helmets, and hockey goalie helmets are different from regular hockey helmets)
  • avalanche safety gear (beacon, shovel, probe)
  • microspikes (I know we have the single "lost crampon" but hey sometimes you don't need full duty crampons)

Not winter safety ideas, but could also throw in some more winter gear:

  • sleds or snow tubes!
  • for skiing you could also get into telemark vs alpine, and skate vs classic
  • curling/broomball
  • dogsledding gear (sled, harness, dog booties)
  • more modern snowshoes than what Icy Goods has
