Reviving this topic from several years ago. :D
In my area at the moment... it's a gray winter and I see mostly ravens and magpies time of year. Corvids (crow family) are such smart, interesting birds, I love them.
A couple of black bears, who were too hungry to sleep, raiding my neighbor's trash.
saw a (juvenile?) hawk(?) of some sort, or possibly a falcon on my way home from work the other day, just chilling on a powerline
banner by I saw an eagle owl recently, hanging out in a tree in town. Very big.
I saw a coyote along the side of the road in the river valley on my way to work this week!
Ruh roh! This kind of thing happens in my city too, though usually a little later in the year. Hope they don't make it a habit and endanger themselves.
it's getting warmer here, so lots of birds! i moved into a house in november and the last owners left behind a bird feeder right outside the living room window. i see a lot of juncos, sparrows, chickadees, and even sometimes woodpeckers!
a thicc rat crossed my path on the way home the other day.
A murder of crows, chilling on the balconies around my apartment.
My boyfriend and I were driving the other day and saw over 30 wild turkeys! We thought they were geese from far away but it was pretty cool sight

The other night a eastern screech owl flew into a tree in our backyard and did some preening before departing! It was a rare sight! And then the following day two large red-headed woodpeckers were going to town on the trees behind our yard!
A stellers jay is attempting to build a nest in my carport. Smart bird, it's nice and sheltered from the snow there, but he poops on my truck. Ah nature. The chickadees are already harassing me to put up their nesting boxes as well.
I saw one of the brightest cardinals ever (to me) the other day. Aside from that, squirrels & other kinds of bird mostly. Lots of squirrels. While I haven't seen them the coyotes are also making noise which makes sense as it's den & pup season.
