There is a lot going on, and I've been shifting the styles a lot on the forums as I move more and more discussions over here.

This topic is for forums feedback broadly, layout and functional.

Recent Home Chnages

I recently changed the home page quite a bit, mostly to show more recent topics from each top level thread. The goal is to make the forums feel more alive, and I feel like seeing a few recent posts maybe helps you jump into a conversation.

Hello, does the Search Forums thing work for you? The label search is functional, the query one isn't, it seems. I get an error page with the geek bunny every time!

Is there any way to edit a post on kumos forums? I saw in quest feedback that every forum post is posting multiple times (so there's another issue), sometimes twice sometimes four or five times. i'd like to edit my last one to say its a duplicate but there's no "edit" button?

I hope this is the right forum for this issue. If it isn't, please move it to the right thread.

I'm having a huge issue posting on the Kumos forums. First, I'll give you some context. I'm blind and play on a Windows 11 pc with a Chromium Edge browser that is up-to-date. I play using the J.A.W.S. screen reader from Freedom Scientific. It is also up-to-date.

My issue is that I can not post to a thread. I can read the thread just fine and can even quote people. The problem begins when I enter the text box to type my post. I can type the post out just fine but can't exit the text box to post the reply. I've tried every trick I know topop the cursor out of the text box but nothing happens. I just sit there in the text box. No warnings come up, nothing. Nothing at all happenes no matter what buttons I push. I have found only two ways to remedy this. The first is to just close the tab and navigate away from the page. The second is to ask my hubby for help. He will then come over and using the mouse click outside the text box, popping my cursor out of it. Neither solution is good. The first one means I don't reply. The second has me beholden to my hubby and his mouse to help me everytime I post in the Kumos forums. Unfortunately, he's not always around or willing to stop what he's doing to pop me out of the text box.

Is there anyway to make it possible for me to pop out of the text box so I can hit "post?" I'm able to do it on the old forums so I know it is possible. (Obviously, since I posted this. XD )

Thank you for your help in this matter and Sorry for making more work for you. :D ❤

Hello ... I'm allowing myself to @ you because there's something really crazy happening when I'm on the main Forums page on Kumos... It's as if I'm on someone else's account: I see their theme, their widgets etc. instead of mine... And even more worrying is that I can see the progress of their quests, their notepad content, the forum groups they've joined and their topics and so on, all on that same page! EDIT: Came back on that page and now I see another account with another setup...

I wish there was a way to edit our posts and topics! Also, the avatar is squished horizontally, which looks weird. I don't think the avatar should be reduced in any capacity on the new forums. It's small enough as it is.
