did everyone have a good holiday / is having a good holiday? we had a pretty lowkey thing which is good because i always have huge meltdowns over the holidays and i didnt this year. still hard as always for one reason or another, but it was much easier than it has been. last year was probably the best christmas ive had and the only real reason this year was kind of dim is because one of our closest friend stopped talking to us and we're being ghosted by him, and he was at our house all winter last year and made it really special. im hoping we reconnect with him sooner than later ;3;

good morning! the holidays are harder for me than they used to be but it was a pretty good time. lots of family and good food. i had to work yesterday (boooo) but now I'm off through the new year and i'm excited for some relaxing and a fresh start in 2025.
I usually have a nice time celebrating the holidays with family and friends each year, but this year’s is extra special because we got to do that and I’m also away on vacation with my husband.

Our holiday was pretty chill, too, which I appreciate. I’m not a big fan of the hustle and stress, so keeping things simple always feels better. I’ve been focusing on relaxing hobbies and spending time with family and pets, which helps keep the holiday blues at bay.
And yes, I totally miss how active forums used to be, too! The sense of community back then was amazing, but I’m glad we’re still able to connect, even if it’s quieter now. 😊
