While it may seem early or at least an odd time to be thinking of Survival it isn't that far away so I'm getting this thread started.

Survival suggestions 2024

Survival celebrates love in the middle of a zombie pandemic. The color palette is usually depends on whether the item is in Louis L'Amour or Zombie Den. Over the years some items have been so popular that people request them or a version of them in the other shop and color pallete. So if you have a color preference you should include it in your suggestion. The themes include

While I'm not a fan of the gross or horror aspects of the holiday this is one of the two best opportunities to make requests like that if that is what you enjoy.

There is no guarantee on the Zombie skin requests they usually pick a theme and stick to it for years BUT if they were inspired enough it is possible.

I would love some pews to go with the Old Chapel Key items from last Survival.

It would also be nice to have more park amenities that would make nice locations for a date. <3 I'm thinking about the Bench Dedication Plate wearables from Local Fresh and Wholesome, but instead of benches perhaps we could have some classic stone features like water fountains or statues with cupid/fae/Greek inspiration?

There have been many wonderful ideas in the last two years. More than a few have come to life but there are still so many more that I don't even know what to ask for this year. I would still really enjoy anything I requested last year and there are even ideas from 2023 that would be really cool like 's. If I find can narrow things down to what I want most I may post again with a more specific request.

If only so it is easier to gift through MM I would like to repeat the request for a bulk version of the candy hearts. I can put piles of hearts under trees but there is a very reasonable limit in MM. As far as I'm aware the item below only gives two candy hearts and while I can agree with methods that help control the surplus that builds up around the site two candy hearts isn't a nice gift for MM. It would probably incentivize buying more of them if it held more candy hearts. Even if the price for the item increased to reflect the increase in hearts. Something similar to the bags in the Menagerie. Then people could send hearts easier and it would have a greater impact on the market. If I have spare hearts and remember I will try to test this during Survival to confirm the number of hearts given. Its possible you already made changes and they just aren't updated on Subetalodge.

Parlor: I'd really like more wearables based off of foods like chocolate, sprinkles, candy, fruit, edible glitter, cookies, cake/cupcakes. Staffs/wands shaped like those cherry heart suckers, bows and arrows, animal companions.

More HA frames! Most of the ones we currently have are neutral or Christmas. There really aren't a lot for other holidays. Cute ones for Valentines would be great!

Ok so I came back to attempt to make a short list of thing I want to see the most.

More interior backgrounds and foregrounds. Backgrounds that create settings and foregrounds that furnish the setting. Bars like the Libertine Lounge, yes I know that is a different holiday, but this is the perfect holiday for a romantic date or getting away from the Pandemic. Fun and colorful soda shops, quirky candy stores, cafes, romantic ice cream parlors.

One year the Zombie Den released scalpels but we also need needles and thread to put people back together again. I want it mostly as a treasure item but it could also be a wearable and I know some people who enjoy the gory side of the holiday have asked for more wounds amputations and more. While those don't currently work on zombie skins maybe the needle and thread could be various stitches. Those could work over zombie skins since they would almost be like a tattoo. If you lined the up just right they could go right where there limbs cut off in the wardrobe when we remove leg and arm parts on our base HA. There should be at least one on the face.

Every year someone helps us through the confusion of a new round of viruses. I want to say [user=Chocolate} but I can't remember for certain, the one who dresses up as a nurse. It would be a really cool piece of Subetan lore to have a book written by them. Almost a how to or survival manual for Survival. My food suggestions from last year are still making me hungry so I will repeat them. Especially the last one. -individual trifles in a wine or martini glass there could be matching ones in both shops like they were made for a food competition between the vendors from Half Baked and the bake Shop. Chocolate Strawberry, Lemon Blueberry, Pistachio Fig, Peach Cookie, Raspberry Mint and whatever the lady from Half Baked can think of since I'm not familiar with Zombie Cuisine. -individual or two person heart shaped Chocolate Panna Cotta with various toppings strawberry, fig, peach, nuts, mandarins, black cherry, raspberry caramel -CREPES all the crepes so many crepes sweet crepes (strawberry mandarin, raspberry fig, black cherry peach, lemon blueberry, mint chocolate Oreo, lemon curd, banana rum, coffee mascarpone, and various ice creams) and savory (smoked salmon and brie, crab with lemon aioli sauce, turkey pesto, spinach and mushroom, Gorgonzola with figs, ham and walnuts)

I've seen crepes folded and rolled in more than one way but I'm not picky they are all good. Stacked folded on a plate or rolled in a cone, layered like a cake and rolled like cannolis. Filled or topped with toppings or both you can't go wrong with crepes.

...And I am once again asking for wearables you can use with the limb hiding feature to make the HA look like it has severed limbs. The amputation ones were a good start, but I'd also like to see something more morbid, with blood still dripping and stuff.

A Lurby zombie skin! Last Masquerade we were joking that the Lurby Cocktails would make a great first stage for turning us all into lurbies. Please make it happen :P

I completely agree about the new backgrounds. We could use some cute date spots.

I love the crêpe ideas! They make me think of those cute ones from Japan where they make them in the shapes of animals. Would be great if they were holdable too!

Hello! Just wanted to add support to the having more Cute Date Spots! I'd also love some kind of wearable where it looks like the HA is actually sitting at the bar having a drink or at a table having dinner. Granted I have zero clue on how to make any of that, but that's just my two-cent suggestion.

And all the other suggestions on here are so great! I want all of it! The cute, the gross, all of it sounds great.

Could do a background of a restaurant or bar and a table as a separate foreground item.

pasties and matching underwear/ made to match the parlor underwear we already have. we have a couple sets of non-cw pasties (i haven't checked CWs), but several are attached to other items (ex. ) maybe something patchwork or more literal (anatomical hearts for example, or mimicking different strains) for the zombies.

I noticed that we still don't have heart pins to match the polysexual and intersex pride flags.

Also, last year we got some wearables that work with the new zombie skins, such as the wigs that fit on the Transmewtation skin. So I was thinking it would be nice if we could get things like that for some of the older zombie skins, too.

Maybe more bows for the hair. I can't wait for this to start!!

I have been through all of the stages from hating lurby stuff to absolutely wanting a lurby skin. … Lurby pets. Long lurby pets. Long lurby minions. Longer lurbies. Lurby plushies as minions. Lurby mittens. You know, everything.

I also want colorful scruff. I need scruff to match colorful hair. That’d be cute for Survival or Masquerade.

Now I know these zombie infection suggestions probably won't be something that will happen this year but I think it'd be great to look at microorganisms like bacteria/mold/algae/amoebas. I think many if not all would look pretty terrifying if you made it into an HA skin. And also I think a fuzzy moldy HA might look real cute maybe kinda c:
