Notable site rules related to Pets:

• The selling, buying and trading of pets is not allowed. This violates Subeta's rules and any attempts at doing such will result in disciplinary action.


• Only ONE account allowed per user. Making more than one account for any reason, including holding or having more pets, is not allowed and doing so will result in your accounts being frozen. Information on how to add pet slots to your account is covered in the FAQ.
• Do not harass or target fellow users.
This includes:
• If you abandoned a pet via Adopt R Us, and you are not happy with who adopted the pet. Once a pet is abandoned and put into the adoption center, it is available to be adopted by anyone. An adopter is under no obligation to return a pet, even if you had intended to transfer the pet to another user. If the user who adopted a pet says they don't want to give it up, leave it at that. Transferring pets to another user via Adopt R Us is at your own risk.

Pets can be safely transferred if you befriend the user who is adopting your pet and select the "Give to Friend" in the pet options dropdown.[/b]

• If a user has requirements for a pet they are adopting out and you don't meet them. It is their pet, and is their right to have whatever requirements they want for its adoption.

If you are being harassed, you may file a ticket detailing your complaint.

Welcome to the Subeta Pets sub-forums, where you can discuss anything about Subeta Pets! (If you wish to discuss real life pets, please head on over to the Chit Chat forums.) In addition to the basic site and forum rules listed above, the following rules also apply to the Pets subforums:

• All posts for pets being adopted out must contain pet name, color and species. If there are multiple pets, all must be listed in a coherent manner.
• You must own the pet you are adopting out, i.e. the pet is in your account. Do not offer someone else's pets up for adoption or create a board for a friend.
• One topic per person regarding pet adoptions. Do not make one topic saying "Wanting to adopt a...", and another saying "Abandoning...". Use the same thread.
Do not create a new topic until your previous one has been locked, or the unlocked topic has reached the 3rd page. If you do, it will be considered spam. If you want to make a new topic, contact a Mini-Mod and have them lock the old thread before creating a new one.

It is fine to have other topics within the pet forums, for example, one thread discussing Treasure Chest ideas and another thread seeking to adopt a pet is acceptable.

• When you are done with your Adoption-related thread, please edit the subject title and main post to reflect that so that others know, i.e., "(Closed)" or "(Adopted)"

  [li] Bumping topics is not allowed. Bumping is SPAM and will result in disciplinary action.

• Do not adopt pets just to re-adopt them out.

All forum threads have a 1,000 post limit. When a thread has reached 1,000 posts, it will automatically be closed/locked and have the message, "This post is locked! This thread has reached over 1,000 posts! It's time to start a new one." If a thread has been automatically closed/locked due to reaching the 1,000 post limit, a new one may then be created.
