After Jash's husband, Scouts-Many-Marshes, is murdered by a delusional member of the Dark Brotherhood the Dragonborn is turned into a Daedric Prince. As he deals with the loss of his husband and new duties, he feels the call of love tugging at him once again. But what is the cost of loving a man that doesn't exist in the same reality?

Alex Casey has been having dreams of someone that can't exist after his messy divorce. But he finds himself getting drawn more and more into his dreams. And why is the FBC so concerned about his dreams?

When Alan Wake comes out of Cauldron Lake, both Jash and Alex find their destines converging in unexpected ways. And as it dawns on Jash why he is so drawn to the man, he will fulfill his destiny with no hesitation.
