SPOILER (click to toggle) For the Melody Cottage item today (12-4) the book Packing Snow was given out. Is this an old item? It's not showing as readable to one of my pets.

I mentioned earlier that I plan to return older books and a new item most nights. :) I'm focusing on like... very early years. A lot of Melody items usually went out with the free shop, but there are currently no plans to bring the free shop back in the current format. This is a compromise on getting some older items out that people need.

think the point wasn't that it was a 're-release' item, it was that it wasn't showing as being able to be read to one of their pets.

If a name doesn't show on the list of pets for a book, it's because the book has already been read to that specific pet. Since it's an old item (2009!), there is a very high chance it was used at some point.
