I'm working on this little recolour, but I'm stuck on whether to add a cutie mark or not
The marking crossing that spot kind of takes up the space anyway, but it also kind of feels blank.

I've played with a few, but I don't have a concept I'm especially attached to so idk. I'm also having trouble finding the balance between too detailed and not detailed enough.
Thoughts/ideas? Leave it blank, tweak one of these, or maybe another concept for a mark? I'm not into the new(ish) show so I'm not looking to reference any particular pony. This is for a pet of my childhood pony Barbie, so it could be something horse-related or a reference to her name (though I tried the Barbie "B" and it felt like too much)

omg so cute!! 😍 i do feel like a cutie mark adds that extra finishing touch. i like the third one with the flowers, especially how it coheres with the entire design by picking up on the pink & green from the hair. the hearts are also really cute, but i feel like the pink gets lost against the darker brown tone.
thank you!! I think I'm sold on the idea of having a mark. I'm leaning towards the subtlety of the hearts, but they do disappear maybe a little too much in the first version
Playing with adding definition now (+ pink hooves)

Def voting for cutie mark too! It completes the design so well and just ties everything together.
I like the hearts, but also the non- sparkly flowers! The flowers bring a bit of the green of the mane at the back of the design, adding a fun pop of color at the back :)
