Hello! I haven't been active for a long time here at Subeta and I was hoping on at least playing again and meeting new friends. Most of the things I do here are participating in events, buy and sell items and CWs and draw. I'm hoping someone can give me a ballpark price for sP, CSC and/or USD.

My art samples are below~ I'd really appreciate your help ❤

how long does it take you to complete each tier? because time is money. It also depends on your local area like medium wage. Like in my area will be 10.25 next year. so I definitely dont want to under charge my art at that price. You also have to think about economy especially in USA times are hard. Someone may not want to spend over 50 bucks for art. So know that at first you may get no bites but if someone is gonna spend money on art they are gonna go for high quality. I believe you offer that with your skill set. Your art is very beautiful. Also look at your competition especially that is similar and see how they price. Its gonna be hard to price your art because i dont know how long it takes you.

I will also say size is also something to consider. because bigger the size, bigger the file size and time required to shade. There are lot of things to consider so without those details its hard to put a price to that.

i wouldnt go under 35 dollars! Maybe 50 dollars to 150 dollar range...especially the guy holding the coffee. because it has good shading, lineart isnt super thick which may appeal to some, and there is a nice interior background. but Thats just a rough estimate because i dont know how long it takes you.

if you feel your art prices are too high you will have to find the right buyer or offer 50% up front and 50% when completed..(depends on your trust level on who your working with....) but dont undersell yourself.

your work is quality enough to be pricing high, so remember not to undersell yourself! when i was doing freelance work, the pricing went up based on how much effort/time i put into a piece. say, a lineart headshot was 15 dollars, but a full color headshot was 30. and if there was more than one figure in a piece, then that would be more too. if you were to do a full background, full color, like your half body piece, you could be charging up to 150 dollars, like Moondust said above

good luck, and remember not to let people try to swindle you by getting quality work for cheap. 🎵it costs so much cuz it takes me fucking houurrss🎵

I haven't sold art here either in ages. And mine isn't awesome as yours XDD So grain of salt.

I agree don't undersell. I'd honestly stick to CSC or USD for most commissions. I'd use the conversion of $5= 500 CSC I'd lean towards ... $25/2.5k CSC because of the market itself.

sP Math babble BUT optional offer a cheaper spot or with sp if so inclined and the CSC/sp rate for 100, 250, and 500 CSC at least today is a range from 1CSC= 84,400 to 87,500 SO lets say 85,750 for now per CSC Which is ... I think CSC would be involved in having enough sp to pay that anyway. Cause the calculator is showing a biiiig number. So don't be shy going straight to CSC slots.

EDIT: Messed up the spoiler tag XXD

Thank you everyone for taking the time to look and to comment! I really appreciate it! :D

Thank you very much for the kind words! ❤

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, I take a long time to finish my art. I haven't polished my techniques to make it less time consuming. So I would probably not base it at that. Thanks also for the price range. I can use that to estimate. ❤

Thank you very much! I'll definitely keep those in mind ❤

Thank you! It's been so long since I've really been active here, that really help! ❤

I'll be wishing you luck in your artistic pursuits :D You've got the talent! I hope your commissions go well! I'll probably circle back around to commission you myself honestly but I'm putting together prizes and such for a contest giveaway so it may be a while :<

Pricing is such a difficult aspect of art! MoondustDreams is right when they say that your pricing should be dependent on the time you spend. Are you planning on doing commissions outside of subeta at all?
