I don't know if this can technically be called a guide since I was only able to write up a few for the more difficult challengers, but that doesn't mean we can't help each other!
Feel free to ask questions and share your strategies here :D
[box=pink]Guides I did have time to write:[/box]
Carrion Lord
[box=khaki]Carrion Lord[/box]

This unfortunate looking worm is recommended for pets at tier 6 or tier 7! It is freezable.
• Similar to the other Morostide opponents, Carrion Lord uses dark (:dmg:dark:) icons in all of its attacks. It also uses fire and physical (:dmg🔥:dmg:physical:), with some magma and earth (:dmg:magma::dmg:earth:).
:block:dark:25 :heal: 55 HP |
:block:dark:15 |
:block:dark:14 |
:block:dark:10 :block🔥10 |

:block🔥10-14 |
:block🔥10 :block:magma:10 |
:block🔥7 :block:magma:7 :heal: 45 HP |
:block:dark:75 |
:block:dark:35 |
:block:dark:30 :heal: 70 HP |
:block:dark:17 :block:physical:8 |
:block:dark:15 |
+ |
:block🔥35 or 50 :heal: 0 or 60-90 HP |
I would pick a dark blocker (:block:dark:) from the list on the left and pair it with a fire blocker (:block🔥) from the right. Together they'll be blocking a pretty big chunk of Carrion Lord's attack. If you want to look through more options, click here.
• Its Paralyzing Fear attack can freeze so you'll want to equip freeze protection crystals to avoid being frozen.

80% freeze protection |

50% freeze protection |
• There are a few different options we can use for our infinite use scroll.
Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :heal: 7% |
Protector of the Rich :block🔥10 :block:physical:11 :heal: 7-8% |
Divine Denizhen :block:dark:3 :block🔥3 :block:physical:3 :block:magma:3 :block:earth:3 :heal: 5% |
Umbrus
[box=burlywood]Umbrus[/box]

If you want to beat the remaining stuffing out of Umbrus, it is recommend for pets at tier 7 or higher. It is not freezable.
• Umbrus's biggest attacks consist of dark and fire (:dmg:dark::dmg🔥), but it also does a lot of light (:dmg:light:). There is also some wind, physical, and ice (:dmg:wind::dmg:physical::dmg🧊), but those are less important.
:block:dark:75 |
:block:dark:35 |
:block:dark:30 :heal: 70 HP |
:block:dark:15 :block:light:15 |
:block:dark:15 |
+ |
:block🔥35 or 50 :heal: 0 or 60-90 HP |
Our weapon choices here are almost exactly the same as they were for Carrion Lord: pick a dark blocker from the left (:block:dark:) and pair it with Scythe of the Widow (:block🔥) from the right. There are a lot of dark blocking options at this tier, but the best ones are not cheap. Still, you can pick up Ultra Star Rod from the Battle Shop if you have enough tokens. For more options, click here.
• If you peek at Umbrus's weapons, you will see its Play Time Scroll blocks a little of every element. The best way to get around this is to use elemental mod crystals. Since freezing and stealing are disabled, this frees up our mod slots to add more attack icons. I recommend picking crystals that add fire, magma, water, or wind attack (:dmg🔥:dmg:magma::dmg:water::dmg:wind:) since Umbrus blocks those elements the least. Curses are enabled, too, making these crystals especially helpful. However, if you prefer to add to your defense instead, light and wind (:block:light::block:wind:) defensive crystals will be the most helpful since the recommended weapons are already blocking dark and fire.
• Here we have some infinite use scroll options for Umbrus.
Protector of the Rich :block🔥10 :block:physical:11 :heal: 7-8% |
Triple Threat :block🔥10 or 15 :block:wind:10 or 15 :block🧊10 or 15 :heal: 7% |
Divine Denizhen :block:dark:3 :block🔥3 :block:light:3 :block:wind:3 :block:physical:3 :block🧊3 :heal: 5% |
Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :heal: 7% |
Nightlady
[box=thistle]Nightlady[/box]

Everyone's favorite spiderwoman is back this year and recommended for pets at tier 9 or more. She is freezable.
• Nightlady is a tough opponent for smaller pets. Not so much because of her weapons, but her curses. They are ruthless, frequent, and unblockable. Thankfully her weapon attacks are confined to only five different elements - dark, earth, physical, water, and ice (:dmg:dark::dmg:earth::dmg:physical::dmg:water::dmg🧊) - which makes them a little easier to block.
:block:dark:100 |
:block:dark:100 |

:block:earth:100 |
:block:earth:65 |
:block:earth:35 :block:physical:30 |
:block:earth:35 |
:block:physical:50 |
For the most part she's going to be using dark and earth icons, but blocking physical can be helpful too. The weapons listed are either strong blockers or will heal you each turn. If you'd like to look through more options, click here.
• Nightlady can also be pretty ruthless with her freezing and stealing. Be sure to use mod crystals to protect yourself; her curses hurt much worse when you are frozen.

• A solid infinite use scroll is going to be important to help mitigate some of the damage you're taking in.
Aftershocks :block:dark:5 :block:physical:5 :block:earth:7 :dmg:magma:6 :heal: 7% |
Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :heal: 7% |
Ocean Currents :block:water:12 :block🧊12 :heal: 8% |
Even though there aren't a ton of options, each of these is going to be helpful in their own way.
• One last tip is to not bother bringing in your blasters (Recycle Blaster and Soma Tablets). She has many extra copies of her Poison-Soaked Dagger, so using them won't help you much here. I opted for filling one of those slots with Potion of the Robot instead, as it gives a +250 strength boost during battle. That's a pretty large boost for pets in tier 9!
Mirror Ghoul
[box=lightcoral]Mirror Ghoul[/box]

This ghoulish specter is recommended for pets at tier 10 or more. It is freezable.
• If you've peeked at Mirror Ghoul's weapons, you'll notice that its Shattered attack has a 10% chance of doing :dmg:physical:77. I wouldn't worry about this too much. Between the times you're freezing it and when it actually uses its various weapons, the odds of it hitting you for that much damage are fairly low. I would just accept it as a small risk that may be annoying at times, but shouldn't prevent you from getting your wins in.
• So what should we be focusing on blocking? Apart from the small chance of that big physical attack, it uses: :dmg🔥:dmg:light::dmg:dark::dmg:wind::dmg:physical::dmg:earth:.
:block🔥33 :block:light:100 |
:block🔥50 |
:block🔥40 or 60 |
:block:light:75 |
:block:light:60 or 75 |
:block:light:45 :block:earth:45 |
:block:wind:35 :block:earth:35 |
:block🔥38 :block:wind:38 |
:block:light:40 or 85 :block:wind:40 or 85 |
:block🔥35 :block:light:35 |
I don't particularly like the weapon options for this opponent because there aren't many dual blockers that use its most common icon types and some of the better matches don't heal, but you can try to fill any gaps you may have with your mod slots. To look through more options, click here.
• Even though we can freeze it, Mirror Ghoul does not freeze us back. This frees up our mod slots. You can choose to add either more attack, or more defense to help cover any icons that aren't being blocked by your weapons. Feel free to get creative too, using more than one type of crystal can help you activate more than one curse or blessing at once.
• Finally, we have a few choices for our infinite use scroll.
Protector of the Rich :block🔥10 :block:physical:11 :heal: 7-8% |
Aftershocks :block:dark:5 :block:earth:7 :block:physical:5 :heal: 7% |
Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :heal: 7% |
Triple Threat :block🔥:block:wind:10 or 15 :heal: 7% |
Mirror Ghoul has the ability to block any element depending on which weapons it is using so it doesn't matter very much which attack icons your chosen scroll has, but any of these will give you some help with your defenses.
Noflaik
[box=plum]Noflaik[/box]

Those tentacles sure are something... 😬 Noflaik is recommended for pets at tier 10 or tier 11. It is freezable.
• Due to recent changes, Noflaik seems slightly harder this year. That or I've rated its tier incorrectly for all these years :P Either way, it's still attemptable at tier 10, but you may have an easier time at tier 11. For tier 10, I used five freezing scrolls on alternating turns. The strategy is basically forgoing freezing when your health is high, and hoping for a freeze when it is lower to help your constants heal you while the opponent is frozen. The freezing scrolls alone are helpful because Noflaik can hit pretty hard when it is unfrozen.
• Noflaik uses a wide variety of elements in its attacks, but the one that is always consistent is dark (:dmg:dark:). The next most common are water, wind, and fire attacks (:dmg:water::dmg:wind::dmg🔥), followed by a little of physical, ice, and earth (:dmg:physical::dmg🧊:dmg:earth:).
:block:dark:100 |
:block:dark:75 |
:block:dark:45 or 50 :block🧊45 or 50 |
:block:dark:33 :block:earth:100 |
:block:dark:55 |
:block:dark:100 |
:block:dark:55 |
:block:water:38 :block:wind:38 :block🔥38 |
:block:water:40 :block:wind:40 |
:block:water:40 or 85 :block:wind:40 or 85 |
:block:water:25 :block:wind:25 :block:earth:25 |
:block:water:35 or 40 :block🔥35 or 45 |
Because it can steal, I recommend equipping three constants of your choosing, rather than the typical two, so you have a backup in case one is stolen. You can look through more options over here.
• Freezing and stealing are enabled so be sure to mod your weapons with some mixture of parched, rose, or blessing of natural armor crystals to protect yourself from being frozen and prevent Noflaik's grimy tentacles from stealing your weapons :P

• Lastly, we have a few options for our infinite use scroll.
Aftershocks :block:dark:5 :block:earth:7 :block:physical:5 :dmg:physical:6 :dmg:magma:6 :heal: 7% |
Ocean Currents :block:water:12 :block🧊12 :dmg🧊4 :heal: 8% |

Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :dmg:physical:5 :heal: 7% |
Triple Threat :block:wind::block🔥:block🧊10 or 15 :heal: 7% |
Organ Collector
[box=indianred]Organ Collector[/box]

This creepy collector is recommended for pets at tier 10 or stronger. It is not freezable.
• Organ Collector uses three major elements in its attack: dark, wind, and earth (:dmg:dark::dmg:wind::dmg:earth:). It also uses physical, light, and water (:dmg:physical::dmg:light::dmg:water:) to a lesser extent. I recommend picking out a dark and a wind blocker to block most of its attack.
:block:dark:100 |
:block:dark:75 |
:block:dark:45 or 50 |
:block:dark:33 :block:earth:100 |
:block:dark:55 |
:block:dark:100 |
:block:dark:55 |
:block:wind:100 |
:block:wind::block:earth:35 |
:block:wind:60 |
:block:wind:50 |
:block:wind::block:water:40 |
:block:wind::block:light::block:water:40 or 85 |
These are all pretty solid options, but if you'd like to look through more, click here.
• Many of the struggles with Organ Collector each year come from its Successful Transplant blessing. It blocks a little of each element, which can reduce the amount of damage your weapons are dealing. If you remember, the best way to get around this is to use weapons with strong single element attacks. But wait, there's more! Freezing and stealing are disabled here, which frees up your mod slots. This super important for this opponent - you can also add to your attack icons to get around its blessing.
So for example, let's say we're using Gelatin Slayer and Strange Plasma Ball. They both use a ton of light icons (:dmg:light:) in their attack, which is great for getting around the blessing. You can choose to add more with light attack crystals or, if you feel the weapons' light attack is sufficient enough, you can add defensive crystals to help prevent more damage. The choice is yours! Try experimenting with your weapons to see which strategy works best for you.
• Next we have some options for our infinite use scroll.
Aftershocks :block:dark:5 :block:earth:7 :block:physical:5 :heal: 7% |
Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :heal: 7% |
Ocean Currents :block:water:12 :heal: 8% |
Triple Threat :block:wind:10 or 15 :heal: 7% |
Terra Focujin :heal: 10% |
Aftershocks is the only one that I would say is ideal for this opponent. The rest are just okay, but something is better than nothing!
• Since freezing is disabled, we have the choices of using blocking or healing scrolls.
Cobalt Eternal :block:dark::block:earth::block:physical: 8 AP |
Fatal Fire :block:dark: 10 AP |
Lucky :block:dark: 19 AP |
Typhoon of Valor :block:wind: 7 AP |
Sancturia Exodin :block:earth::block:physical::block:light::block:water: 8 AP |
Gigan Blow :block:earth: 7 AP |
Morosbane :heal: 300 HP 15 AP |
Lucky :heal: 500 HP 19 AP |
Gift of the Forj :heal: 1,500 HP 15 AP |
Morosbane and Lucky are going to be good to use here because of their high light damage, which gets around Organ Collector's blessing. There are lots of defensive options too if you prefer to use those instead.
Devora
[box=#99bfc9]Devora[/box]

This spooky harvester of souls is recommend for pets at tier 11 or greater. She is freezable.
• Devora uses two main elements in her attack: light and dark (:dmg:light::dmg:dark:). She also uses quite a bit of wind (:dmg:wind:), some water and ice (:dmg:water::dmg🧊), and a little physical (:dmg:physical:) to round things out.
:block:light:30 :block:dark:30 :block🧊30 |
:block:light:65 :block:water:65 |
:block:light:100 |
:block:light:60 or 75 :block:water:0 or 45 or 75 |
:block:light:40 or 85 :block:wind:40 or 85 :block:water:40 or 85 |
:block:dark:130 :block:wind:40 |
:block:dark:45 or 50 :block🧊45 or 50 |
:block:dark:33 :block:water:33 :block:physical:27 |
:block:dark:13 :block🧊14-18 :block:water:14-18 :block:wind:13 |
I got a little stuck picking out the weapon choices because I'm not quite pleased with the options, but I guess we'll see how they do once we can battle her. If you'd like to look through more that I didn't think of, click here.
• Devora can freeze and steal so we want to use our trusty protective crystals to prevent her from making things too difficult for us :)
80% freeze protection |
80% freeze protection |
100% steal protection |
50% freeze & steal protection |

• Finally, there are some infinite use scroll options that will be good for her.
Ocean Currents :block🧊12 :block:water:12 :heal: 8% |
Skelly :block:light:8 :block:dark:8 :block🧊8 :heal: 8% |
Triple Threat :block:wind::block🧊10 or 15 :heal: 7% |
Ocean Currents would be my ideal "budget" choice. It helps complement the light and dark blocking you're doing with your weapons.
Rouland
[box=mediumpurple]Rouland[/box]

Happy Halloween! Everyone's favorite bat-boy has come out to play and is recommended for pets at tier 12.
• There are two main strategies for Rouland. One is to attempt chain freezing him before his freeze protection blessing goes up (the little bluegreen fog image), and the other is to just not try freezing him at all. Whichever one you go for is up to you. It may be preferable to try freezing him if you're attempting him with a weaker pet who may not survive his attacks as easily, but it's definitely going to take some trial and error.
• As far as weapons go, he uses every element except for light in his attacks and the only two elements he does not block are ice and water (:dmg🧊:dmg:water:).
Highest Priority ----> Lowest Priority |
:block:dark: :block:wind: :block🔥 :block:magma: :block🧊 :block:physical: :block:water: :block:earth: |
• First I would pick out a dark blocker. Then, depending on which secondary icon(s) it blocks, I would find a weapon that complements its blocking. For instance, if we were to use Insektdammerung (:block:dark::block🧊), a good pairing would be Swashbuckle (:block:wind::block🔥) because together they are blocking four different elements.
:block:dark:130 :block:wind:40 |
:block:dark:75 :block:magma:65 |
:block:dark:45 or 50 :block🧊45 or 50 |
:block:dark:45 :block🔥130 |
:block:dark:45 :block🧊130 |
:block:dark:30 :block:magma:30 :block🧊30 |
:block:wind:130 :block🔥45 |
:block:wind:55 :block🔥55 :block:water:55 |
:block:wind:40 :block🔥40 :block🧊40 |
:block:wind:35 :block🧊35 :block:earth:35 |
:block🔥135 :block:magma:50 |
:block🔥70 :block🧊70 |
:block🔥115 :block:physical:45 |
:block🔥25 :block🧊125 :block:water:25 |
:block:magma:65 :block🧊65 |
:block:magma:85 :block🧊85 |
Ideally I would try to choose two weapons that together block four different icon types. If you want to look through more options, check here.
• Although stealing is disabled, he can freeze and you're going to want to load up on parched crystals. Adding some rose crystals can help too, because when their blessings are active at the same time, you can get about 90% freeze protection.
80% freeze protection |
80% freeze protection |
50% freeze protection |
50% freeze protection |
If you have any open mod slots left, you can also use elemental crystals to add some defense or offense to your weapons. Remember that the only two elements he doesn't have a chance of blocking are ice and water (:dmg🧊:dmg:water:).
• Since he attacks with many different elements, we have quite a few choices for our infinite use scroll.
Tasselled Aegis :block:dark:25 :heal: 9% |
Strength of the Paramnesia :block:magma:11 :block🧊12 :block:physical:11 :heal: 9% |
Aftershocks :block:dark:5 :block:physical:5 :block:earth:7 :heal: 7% |
Ocean Currents :block🧊12 :block:water:12 :heal: 8% |
Feather Explosion :block:physical:23 :heal: 7% |
Triple Threat :block:wind:10 or 15 :block🔥10 or 15 :block🧊10 or 15 :heal: 7% |
Any of these will work. Just use whatever you already have or whichever is in your price range.
• If you're going to attempt to freeze him, remember that Cold Blast scales to be the top freezing scroll against opponents with greater than 4,000 speed.
Cold Blast 70% 13 AP |
Shriek of Despair 66% 15 AP |
Psycho Smasher 66% 16 AP |
Strong Stomp 66% 17 AP |
Perilous Whirlpool 33% 7 AP |
• If you don't plan on freezing him, you can opt for scrolls that block or heal instead.
Cobalt Eternal :block:dark::block🔥:block🧊:block:physical::block:earth: 8 AP |
Fatal Fire :block:dark::block🔥 10 AP |
Lucky :block:dark: 19 AP |
Typhoon of Valor :block:wind: 7 AP |
Perilous Whirlpool :block🔥 7 AP |
Oblivijhen :block:magma: 7 AP |
Arctic Braver :block🧊 7 AP |
Lucky :heal: 500 HP 19 AP |
Gift of the Forj :heal: 1,500 HP 15 AP |
Rage of the Paramnesia :heal: 5,000 HP 75 AP |
• Final thoughts: as always, remember to bring in your Volatile Energized Mecha, Recycle Blaster, Phoenix Quill, as well as Soma Tablets and Reviver of the Lion if you have them. The Mecha is going to help block his physical icons so you really don't have to worry about them as much. The blasters are always good for turning opponent weapons into junk, which can give you some reprieve on the turns that they use them. And, of course, the healers will save you from certain death when your health gets low :P
Good luck! 🍀

For people that want to farm boosters, Mirror Ghoul still gives out tomes and amulets after 10 wins. Didn't see any of the guaranteed specific number drops of boosters in my first 25 wins with one pet.
Thanks, I had literally just remembered that I meant to post who gave out amulets, tomes, and pumpkins for farming :P
Carrion Lord is beatable at T6! This may have to do with the weapon upgrades as I'm using nothing special against him
Carrion Lord is beatable by Tier 5, mine got 10 wins. NoFlaik I got some wins with Tier 9.
I'm still a tiny bit iffy on Carrion Lord, but I've added some tier 6 options if anyone wants to attempt it there.
Tier recommendations are more of a guideline for casual battlers. Advanced battlers can usually go down a tier, sometimes two, since they're well stocked with weapons and AP. I would use them as a starting point and work your way downward if you're feeling confident :P
and were what I used to get to 10 wins, along with double blasting on an evenly trained build. As long as he doesn't chain freeze you to death, he shouldn't be a problem at T6. is good to use for block and freezing. You can equip a lot since they are cheap in AP
is another good option depending on weapons
is also good and does a lot of damage
Umbrus: took some luck to get to 3 wins at low T6, but I can see a high T6 getting to five wins.
I used for him
I got wins on Umbrus with Tier 5 pets. They then crossed over to Tier 6 and finished getting their 10 wins.
What were you using? His crit hits are what kills me x.x
I already switched their set to Tier 6. I believe it was: Simple Catoblepas Wheeley Toy - it's a bomb here since no freezing Hearts Revenge Gunblade Iron Fireside Lantern Sunny Side Staff Rainbow Vortex Shinwas Temple Shard Phoenix Quill Reviver of the Lion
Handful of Lucky spells and a Skelly spell
Damn I don't have any bombs for that tier but I picked up the sunny side staff! The amount of damage it does is definitely making a difference and got me another win!
Sunny Side Staff is great for Tier 5 and 6.
Thank you for the offer but I am done battling with my T6. I am focusing my efforts on mirror ghoul before the next wave drops and then I will be preoccupied with those guys xD He took quite a few losses, but managed to get to 6 wins!

Okay, maybe not, but that is definitely my limit.
THANK YOU for making it possible!
If anyone wants to try rouland at T11, I recommend using with . He could be super tough depending on your build and AP, but he is beatable!
I liked the Swashbuckle and Corrupted Shadow Sword with lots of Lucky spells and then Tasselled Aegis when the Luckys ran out.
Here to help those struggling with Rouland, got my 10 wins with a little bit of elbow grease and hopefully it'll help a couple people out there.
Pet is very fresh to T12, here are her stats to see if your pet's are comparable:
Level: 1222 Health: 3296 / 3296 Strength: 3296 Defense: 2722 Speed: 3296 Intelligence: 1736 AP: 108 Tier: 12
Got the 10 wins with Swashbuckle + Paintbrush Blades. First turn Volatile Energized Mecha + Energized helm, followed by Soma and Recycle blaster next turn. If you're able to get some freezes in before his blessings come in go for it. After that it's just Swash/PB Blades/Aftershocks unless you need a heal ofc. Mods are important. I used the following on the Swash/PB Blades:
Swashbuckle: 2 x Parched Baguette Crystals 2 x Dark Defense Eye of Royalty Crystal
Paintbrush Blades: 2 x Dark Defense Eye of Royalty Crystal 1 x Parched Baguette Crystal 1 x Rose Baguette Crystal
And that's basically it! Just kept trying over and over again with that lol
