Hi everyone! I saw someone talking about this on reddit and had to give it a go. I was a loyal neopets player for years until I lost my account, and the site just isn't the same anymore. I even convinced my boyfriend to come along, this will be his first foray into the virtual pet world. Can't wait to meet some new people and enjoy all the lovely art here.

welcome ! there's a lot going on here, especially at the moment because we're in keelhauliday ! it's not the biggest event, but it still has quite a lot going on. my biggest suggestion to anyone new is to start building up that wishlist. luminaire (christmas) is my favourite event and there's a lot of wishlist gift exchanging that happens. quests are worth doing to get some new fun items and well needed sp. if you're from neo, same things apply with having feed/read pets to get achievements if you like to do those (i do) theres a good pet page here to give you more tips and tricks about a lot of things. and feel free to ask if you want to know anything specific! ♥ welcome to to fun ♥

edit ; i would also recommend going to the zapper if you're an ex neo. being able to do it way more than on there and have way more result was so much more fun tbh. it will change your pets up a lot though so be warned.

I adore the book collecting, that and having a plushie gallery were my biggest joys in neo! I can't wait to find all the books and plushies this place has to offer. Is the zapper like the lab ray? You can do it more than once a day?! And you don't have to find a map for it? Already ecstatic, there's nothing like the rush of seeing what randomness happens to your pets :D

zapper is a lot like the ray! it uses tokens that you can get from the wizard's quests or just you know, buy in the shops too. if you're a collections fan, minions have a personal zoo that you can put them into, stickers can be self-stuck to yourself, and beanbags are just as big as plushies for collections tbh! also when morostide rolls around (halloween event), there's a pumpkin carving collection too!
