Good Morning my friends! We are finally having a cool day today. It is only going to be 67 degrees. Tomorrow is suppose to be 71 degrees. After that, it will be in the 80s again.

I couldn't sleep last night. If I had a half hour of sleep, that was a lot. I am going to try to stay awake all day so that I will be able to sleep tonight.

I hope that you were able to get your sleep schedule back on track, ❤ Those nights are brutal.

I'm a night owl by nature (born into a family of early birds). What is everyone else?

Good Morning! - I was able to sleep last night. I am an early bird. I get up every day at 6 am and that is without the help of an alarm clock. When I was working, I would get up at 4 am. I worked 6 am to 2 pm. I usually go to sleep anywhere between 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm.

You're schedule sounds like mine . Just cant get over a routine of getting up at 6 a.m.. Old habits are hard to change. I also go to bed early. I'm off to dinner at my daughter's. Her mother-in-law is visiting. Hope to take some of the strain off my daughter. I'm so fortunate to have had a wonderful mother-in-law.

the visit when well. Betsy and her husband decided to take a bike ride and took the dog with them. That left me to visit with Mother-in-law. That was fine. We have always gotten along. She talks and I listen and the kids and dog got some time out. We also had a wonderful dinner . :)

I am glad that everything turned out good and your daughter and husband had a little time to themselves.

It is hot again here, so I don't go out that much. I do have to go out tomorrow as I have a follow-up doctor's appt. I will have to get lab work done also, especially the A1C test.

9/13 Update: I am so happy! My A1C is 6.2. This is very good for a diabetic. My doctor is happy since I am at goal.
