My favorite of all time has got to be Space Boy but my regular reads shuffle around because of hiatuses and update times.

Anyone have suggestions or wanna gush about their faves? I'm in a discord server for a comic called Sakana https://www.sakana-comic.com/ <--- it has its own site right here.

I haven't read it in FOREVER, but back in my uni days I was head over heels for Namesake. It's kind of... old kids' classic novels meet the real world? I don't want to say a lot because it could spoil things in a big way, but if you ever enjoyed The Wizard of Oz and/or Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, this one might be a winner for you! (It's still updating, too! You can check it out HERE if you're interested.)

I was also obsessed with Sandra and Woo once upon a time (an amusing Sunday funnies style comic featuring a girl and a raccoon), but I don't think it's updating anymore... I remember giving it up because updates just never came or trickled in at a glacially slow pace, so I stopped actively keeping up with it years ago.

More recently I found a physical first volume of The Croaking, and learned after finishing it that it's a webcomic available on Webtoons! What was in the physical volume was REALLY good, so I would definitely recommend it. (It's basically about the trials and tribulations of some bird-winged people with a good serving of relationship development. My bare-bones summary can't really do it justice, it's hard to describe, but it's a little queer, a little cute, a lot adventurous, and I LOVE it.)

I don't really tend to keep up with things online, though. Like, I'll find something cool, binge everything available at the time, and then move on and forget it exists... Not even browser bookmarks can save me from this hell of my own making. If only everything had physical volumes and I could afford them, haha~

Oh I get so sad and a bit anxious when the person/people who make a webtoon I like just gradually vanish. Its not even about the comic I just wanna be sure they're alright or have some closure on what even happened. One guy up and vanished and has no social or contact info and I think someone tried their email listed in the webtoon to no avail. :(

Def wanting a physical volume of space boy specifically but not much else myself. Also your description of the croaking was great and I just checked and there's SO MUCH TO BINGE! No ads or restriction 😭 I'm so happy! You have also doomed me to webtoon binging however.

As easy as it is for me to forget things when a thing I like is good and I NEED MORE ill always be checking and re-checking back to see if there's more.

I am very much the same when creators just seem to drop off the face of the Earth. I may hate being left hanging, but my attachment to characters extends to their creators and I get so worried about them. At least with Sandra and Woo I know the creator is still out doing stuff, last time I looked at the comic's site it seemed they had just dropped it to focus on other works.

Glad my description of The Croaking hit the mark! And, uh, sorry about the webtoon binging curse. But at least it's QUALITY binging, right? c': It's always a blessing and a curse for me to find a great binge-worthy story, too. I start reading thinking I'll just get in a few chapters before bed or something and the next thing I know it's some ungodly hour and I've spent the whole night on a binge.

Whacky Lesbian Hour is one for sure. Too bad I can't scroll the twitter page to find earlier episodes. I just love those two so much now! Beautiful couple.
