So I just picked this guy up from the pound thinking the name sounded neat and I might keep him if he was a legacy name. While he is, turns out the name belongs to a character from an anime already so I can't use him as I had hoped and I'd like for him to go to someone who'd probably appreciate him as a fan pet.

A bit off-topic for adopting, but you don't necessarily have to keep him a fanpet. I adopted Orphan Black, and discovered it's some Drama show from back in 2013. Instead of being trapped by the premise of the show, I took it and ran in a totally different direction, making The Orphans a mercenary group, and started building up pets of different colors (see my profile).

Don't be afraid to take a cool name and run with it to your heart's desire!

Ye! I know that, I just thought I might give people a chance to take him. But if no one shows interest I might just do that.

My pet Elefenrir is one I'm going to do that with. I realized it's a monster from Final Fantasy but it sounded like a cool name for a Zoid and made him a great candidate to be a nostalgic Telenine. <3
