I've been learning how to play Root with some friends because a friend of mine has a physical copy of every part of the game and he seems really into it. We got the digital copy on Steam to practice.

It makes me wonder if anyone else is a fan of whimsical virtual tabletop games. I'm also wondering if anyone has any other games similar to Root or Armello that you could recommend to me.

Haven't played Root yet, but I met up with someone over the weekend to play Arcs, also by Leder Games, and that was really fun and it had a pretty satisfying gameplay loop even for two people. We were supposed to play their other game, Oath, but couldn't get together enough people.
