Ok so let me explain I have a dog,cat and bird. So I've been trying to cut down on expenses.. save where I can.. I have a crazy mortgage (would rather not get into this subject again its just one big mess) SO I also have damages from a tornado.. (red cross said they are don't have the funds to help) Lots of repairs need done.. Anyway lets not get ourselves down! supposed to be happy about what I did.

So I spent $40 less than I did last month on pet supplies! Thanks to coupons and reward points!! I also did not need dog food this month so that helped. I also switched the cat to a bigger bag of food for less money but its same brand. If everything goes good with this cat food I will stick with it. More pounds for less money. (this is before the coupon and before reward points)

I had a cat food coupon and cat litter coupon so I saved on both. No other coupons just my reward points.

My bird gets a bag of food every couple of months.. this was the month for a bag..

So when I got home I noticed last months receipt and seen comparing this month to it I saved $40! (compared to what I spent last month) The more I save The less I spend.. More chances of getting money put back to fix something or go toward the mortgage.

Hope next month I do this good shopping!

Pinging some friends that know I've been struggling

I only bought the must haves. I earn points with every purchase that ends up saving me money in the end. Points turn into money off entire purchase.

I'm also trying to do a no buy on puzzles and coloring books for a bit. Trying to save where I can.
