The kid laroi. I’m going to another one of his concerts on July 6th!!

I went to Orville Peck at the end of May! I'd been excited for it, but work schedules didn't align (the other guy on my shift wasn't working, so it was meee)- but then he popped in for a half a shift when he got done with something early. Within thirty minutes I'd asked off, clocked out, run to my house and my mom's house, and bought a ticket- two hour drive and got there in time for most of the second opener. Well worth it- it was a great show with such fun energy!

last concert was................. uhhhhhh............. last september seeing Pollyanna, Jhariah (who is who i mostly went for tbh), and Pinkshift. VERY fun, got knocked on my ass in a moshpit for the first time at the tender age of 29 LOL

seeing Friday Pilots Club in october, though!! real hype for that, their newest album is a banger. might also be seeing Dorian Electra in september if i can get my friend to come in from out of town for it

Dance With the Dead was opening for Beast in Black. That was last year.

I think the last concert I went to that wasn't like a bar gig was Ghost. I did have tickets to see Tenacious D when they came through town last, but I bought them for my ex and I while we were still together and we separated a few weeks before the show. I was still welcome to go and we were amicable at the time, but I just decided it would've been too much to deal with at the time for me.

The Eras Tour last spring!

I went to a local outdoor thing that could generously be called a concert a couple months ago. I think the headlining band was Busty and the Bass who are... fine? Not really my thing.

The last proper concert I went to was years ago, maybe 2019? It was before the pandemic at any rate. My cousin's friend bailed on her last minute for a Michael Bublé concert and since I was trying to develop a good relationship with her at the time I caved and agreed to buy the ticket off the friend and go.

I saw Kaizers Orchestra on Sunday night in Minneapolis at Fine Line! Man it was WONDROUS! DO recommend. It was just grand. One of my fave groups, never thought they would come to the US as they are from Norway, but they did! And close to me! And I could go! Oh! Joyous! AND they did my favorite song as well as some of their absolute best ones!

I saw Ville Valo (lead singer of the band HIM, currently soloist) last year in october, day before halloween! had a blast, it was the first concert i attended solo and i went all out (dressed up, went early to get barricade, made friends in the line...)

my next concerts are twenty one pilots in january and hopefully taemin in february 🤞

i saw hot mulligan at the beginning of this year. i haven't been to any other concerts this year :'( i wanted to go to aurora right before thanksgiving, but the week was too hectic to schedule it in and i also just couldn't afford it. :'(

Streetlight Manifesto was the most recent. We actually didn't see them this year, which is a strange change for us since the last several years we would see them at least one, if not twice since they usually do two venues that are within 2hrs of us.

I wanted to get tickets for next year's Warped Tour (I was absolutely a WT kid growing up and have some amazing memories) but the cost was bonkers and I just couldn't float it :(

god yeah WT and anything like it (actually any music fest lbrh) preys on nostalgia and the tix are always insane cost wise... hence me not seeing nine inch nails while they're touring this year LMAO

they were incredible! they put on an amazing show. well worth it to see them if you get the chance. funny and energetic dudes with a really great fan base that make for a great crowd!!

if we're talking about concerts in general, then I just went to the seattle symphony last week to hear a harp concerto!! if we're talking about bands, however...

POETS OF THE FALL! I heard my absolute favorite band live!! in person!!!!! they're from finland, and they don't tour in the united states. in 2023, they announced they were going to do a european tour, and one of their stops was paris. my wife and I were both like 👀 so we decided to plan our first-ever international vacation around going to their concert.

it was in november 2023, our last night in paris, and it was AMAZING. my favorite song of theirs isn't one of their most popular songs, but THEY OPENED THE CONCERT WITH IT. I almost cried, y'all. they played so many of their best jams that night, and their lead singer, marko, was so so nice. ;A; I bought so much band merch that we had to get a second suitcase for everything lmao.

the only downside to that concert is that we had to stand next to a couple of guys who were singing VERY LOUDLY along with the music, and they weren't doing it well either lol. but all in all it was a great experience. 10/10 definitely recommend spending your life savings to see your favorite band perform!!
