Pretty simple thing, I just think the Ruffie Raffle should be added to the Dailies page.

this has been brought up before but there's sort of a "policy" that things on the games page don't go on the dailies page, i suppose because at that point you might as well just paste every game from one page to the other.

Since you can only play it once a day, and I think most of the other games are ones you can play more than once a day (not sure about the Stargazer one or the safe), I think it should be moved from the Games page to the Dailies page. In fact, all the games you can only play once a day should be moved there.

but there are also things on the dailies page that you can do more than once a day, and the dailies page already links to the games page.

the dailies page is nice because it collects a bunch of links to features that are otherwise very scattered around the site, so you can easily get to all of them; the games page collects links to all the games, so you can easily get to all of them; the games page is linked on the dailies page.

it's like a tidy little nested filing system. i don't think it's necessary to muddle things by linking (some but not all?) games on both levels of the system.

It really would make sense for all the things you can do only once a day to be listed on the dailies page.

so should the things you can do more than once a day be removed?

Not necessarily--it might be good to keep some of the ones people tend to forget about in that area at the bottom.

I definitely don't think most of the games on the games page should be there, but I also do not think of Ruffie Raffle as a carnival game.

It costs nothing to play, it's just another daily freebie. I don't want most of the "dolls" but I sell them for 20K at least (sometimes more depending on market).

i don't really think of ruffie raffle as much of a game either, and had the dailies page existed when it was added to the site, i feel like it would have been more suited to going there. in fact that's true for the other freebie/semi-freebie "games" under the "chance" section (random, ice fields, underground fishing, etc) as those feel pretty in line with what ended up on the dailies page (trash can, galley, etc). but the dailies page wasn't added until much later, so of course many things ended up on the games page for lack of a better categorization at the time.

so maybe there should be some rethinking done as to what goes where—but the delineation might be somewhat subjective, and moving links around would certainly throw off people who have gotten used to doing things a certain way. at the same time, i think it would be overly messy to have the links duplicated in both places, so i'm not really sure what the best option is.

Ruffie Raffle sends you to games, and games is on the daily page... I don't see why this is a problem.

I agree, I think that it should be a daily thing!

Unlike things like Ring Toss or the Mallarchy Pond, the Ruffie Raffle doesn't take any currency to do. Since it is a "free" chance thing that can only be done once a day, it should go on there.

I actually only noticed today, and that is because I went to see why it hadn't popped yet. (I was about 45 minutes early.) I had thought it was a daily on the page because I use it for all of mine.
