I had the follow up for my bile duct stent.The surgeon said he heard about what happened to me through the grape vine and then he knew who it was was (me). He said the hospital should've put me under his care and he could've gone and checked the stent. He said I had a LOT of gallstones that embedded their selves into my liver and he cleaned it up and the reason I got sick, is probably from the stent. He said "I had to clean you up. You had a lot of stones in your gallbladder and liver. The stones have bacteria in them and when you're cleaned up, stones may break apart, which explains why you had bacteria in your blood". He also said that he believes it wasn't sepsis, but a bacterium and that I wasn't close to dying (which is not what the Doctor said in the ER. It grew sepsis and she said I could've died if I didn't come when I did. So... I don't know. All I know is that I'm alive and well). He'll be doing the scope on June 10 instead of June 28 (last day of school and my employer said err.. can you change it? If not, it is what it is, but that's the last day of school. The Doctor understood, so I was able to change it no problem) and he's hoping the stent will come out for good. He doesn't think I'll need another one, but he doesn't know for sure until he goes in to see how things are doing. He put in the stent because the bile duct from the liver had to stay open so any left over stones can drain. If I do need another stent, it'll be for another one or two times and that's it. He said my infection repeat is low (but that doesn't knock it out completely with my luck).

Personally, I'd rather spend 250k on the pools than 18mill on a BW lol

He's a great surgeon! Very caring. Good doctors are hard to find. He even shook my hand today and asked me if I remember him. I said yes. I was so of it with because I was kept on pain pills before my gallbladder surgery, but I remember him! (He said input in your stent and I said I know lol). What I barely remember if the conversation we had after I was coming to from anesthesia. The nurse was talking to me in my "sleep" and I don't remember that either lol

I could tell thecway you talked about that his very caring. So glad you got him.
