👋 I know that finding posts in this forum (outside of them being displayed on the side of kumos.subeta.net) is difficult right now, and one of the pushes will be moving these posts to a place that you can subscribe / more easily see the posts on the home page.

Forum Squish

As you've noticed, we're a much smaller site, and much smaller team than we were when we built these forums. Where we used to have activity in all of the categories and forums, we're now down to people posting in the places they know, and not venturing out of that much.

So, we're going to reduce the total number of forums and concentrate our moderation efforts to those forums, so that we're all (you too!) spread a little bit less thin.

9. art & creativity (catch-all for market, pricing questions, and discussion - can separate into subforums if it becomes necessary)

11. CWs ++ commissions, pre-sales & slotting

The Plan

We're going to identify which forums "squish" into these new categories, and have a plan to automatically move all posts and threads into their appropriate forums. If there isn't a great fit, we'll choose the best place for them. In some cases, threads might get locked.

Upcoming Forum Improvements

Once we've done the squish, I'm going to make these forums appear on kumos.subeta.net, with the same categories/forums/topics. Posts made on kumos.subeta.net will show up in both places, and with the benefit of search and reactions on kumos.subeta.net. This is likely to come after masquerade, so there isn't confusion with dancing - but forum events (like dancing, biting, etc) should be added in the future.
