I am very interested in Josi! Battling is my passion on the site and I would provide a great battling home for her. I read to, train, and battle with every single one of my pets, and would do the same with Josi! I’ve collected a variety of weapons and scrolls over the years so I can battle with my pets at every tier and continue to battle with them as they grow. I even have a spreadsheet to keep track of which opponents they’ve fought and which they still need to do, haha. All of my pets also have their legacy names intact and they will never be removed. I am interested in Fibi. I have been looking for a legacy name with a birthday in the year 2012. It is one of the years I don't have yet and would love for her to fill that spot. I am big on collecting stuff in general but I specifically look for Legacy names and older pets. I am big on filling TC and collections for pets than most other things.

The enthusiasm with which these pets are received is quite underwhelming, I honestly expected real world names like Luisa, Bette and Josi to be a little more sought after. While I really do want for these pets to find new homes, I also don’t feel like keeping them UFA indefinitely without even knowing whether or not anyone will be interested in them eventually (that also wouldn’t do them justice, they deserve genuine appreciation). I will be keeping this open for a little longer, but if I feel like this is pointless, I will end it.

Anyway, on to applicants!

Since I had always planned for Josi to become a well trained battle pet, I like the idea of that kind of future still being in the cards for her. Send me a friend request and she’s yours :)

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for Amalea C:

I'm a subeta "old timer", been around over 17 years and still kicking. I'm usually working on my pets, chatting on the forums, making HAs for fun, or doing quests to fund my pet progress. Pets are by far my favorite part of the site, and I'm arguably "too" attached to my little pixels (I'd totally cry if Subeta disappeared). I actually created the forum group "Weekly Pet Prompts" and while it's been a little slow this month, we've made it to 13 weeks of folks chatting and sharing and encouraging each other in regards to pets. We also have a discord chat going. (You and anyone are welcome to join us!).

I haven't dabbled much in battling, though I've been starting to read some of the guides and have played around with it with my pet Nev. At the end of the day, I'm mostly a story teller. I tend to draw inspiration from names, meanings, and art or from some kind of personal experience and then shape a story from it. That's why I love the pets here so much, they're my space in life where I let creativity flow, and lately where I've been starting to grow in that regard as well. Besides starting to learn how to use discipline and not just the lucky strike of inspiration and motivation to get stories out, I've been inspired by the group's awesome characters and am working on taking a group of pets and shaping more detailed, nuanced characters / world building alongside their stories. That group of pets is Feyne, Mirio, and Kotori. And that's where I'd love for Amalea to fit in.

My idea for Amalea pulls inspiration from a few places. I'd like to have a fourth for this group, and have been wanting to make a reborn keeto because I love the combination of this small cute pet and the intensity of the flame and expression. I'm picky about names, and this group is united by a unique pattern in their names - a repetitive vowel separated by 1 - 2 letters ( eyne iri oto ) and I am exclusively looking for a name I like that fits this pattern and the character I have in mind. Amalea (ama) meets both of those needs.

I'd like Amalea to be a younger female character with a disarming appearance and personality. Her quiet demeanor is often mistaken for being boring or weak, when in reality she has an immense zeal for life, a deeply zesty and bright personality, and is fierce. Despite being beautiful and small, her intensity is her primary trait and is respected, admired, and joked about at times by her friends. They call her "Al" for short as she feels "Lea" (what her parents call her) feels too soft. Her magic (they all have different types of magic) is related to flame and wind, but it's more like a raw well of force than united with one element. I'm still shaping out her backstory and then the grander story, but I have a good idea of who I want her to be. While the others currently are different shifters, I'm considering her being the "odd one out" in this regard and instead being a human-like witch and/or dragon keeper. Something along those lines that shows her strength, wildness, and that she can fully embrace her beauty, kindness, vibrant joy, and strength.

These are some amazing ideas, I love how much thought you put into this! Your pets look great, especially Gwin and Booped are so adorable ❤️ I think Amalea would have a great home with you, and since I doubt that there is anyone else out there in the process of typing up something elaborate (at least I hope^^’), I’d love to adopt her out to you. Hi! I would love to be considered for Luisa or Bette. I love their stats, esp intelligence, and will battle some with them.
