So, as some people may/may not know, when you feed the trapped minions in the Galaxan Wastelands, there is a chance a bubble will break and a minion will escape and come home with you.
Except I just finished feeding my 2000th minion and I've only ever popped a bubble once. This would indicate the drop rate of a minion is .0005, which is less than half of one percent. This is an obscenely low rate for a reward. Even if this was pushed to a measly 1% drop rate, that would be a vast improvement.
Increasing the drop rate may help get some of the rarer minions back into circulation, reducing the need for Amber to include them in crystal or token shop restocks, etc. It may also incentivize participation in another section of the site.
WHOA. I always thought that was a myth :O I support this!
Thank you for the support and the addition to my thread! <3 It just goes to show that the drop rate is so low, people literally think it's a myth! : o
Yeah, I haven't popped very many at all and I've completed the highest tier achievement (6K). I know someone who was tracking it and they had popped way more than I have. But I noticed that they mostly had results showing the most common minions and I always tried to feed the most rare ones I could find.
I too think the odds should be higher, but if they do raise them, we'll end up hip deep in very cheap minions, without necessarily getting more expensive minions back in circulation.

I’ve only popped one in the entire time i’ve been here, and i’ve fed almost 2k much like you ;o; so i feel you on this and you have my 100% support!
That's interesting you mention that! My single minion I've rescued from a bubble is also a 'normal' rarity (aka cheap and common lol). Perhaps then, if only cheap minions are currently in the prize pool, that should also be adjusted along with the drop rate to included the rarer minions, too.
Thank you! Hopefully it gets adjusted and we can each at least find a second minion! lol
I support this, even if the rate was only slightly increased. I've fed over 8k and only popped four.
I support this! I've only popped one bubble out of the 1k minions I've fed,and it was a common a cheap minion. I'd love to see the odds of popping increased to include rare minions in the prize pool as well
I support this! I have no motivation to engage with Trapped Minions because the rate is so so low it just seems like an sP sink. I'd love to feel like I stood a chance of getting a rare minion!
I'm all for this one. :)

I support this! I have popped some, but at over 9,000 fed..it hasn't been enough!

i was always under the impression that the galaxan wastelands' bubble pop chance only applied to minions of a certain rarity (ie common ones), which is probably why the drop rate appears to be so low. i might be wrong about this though 🤔
either way i'd support rarer minions being added to the drop table and/or a slightly higher chance of a pop happening at all, as i've definitely only popped a bubble a couple of times and the route to the 6k achievement is long and hard enough as it is, haha!
Thank you everyone for your support! I'm glad to see I'm not alone in wanting this.
I hope it's okay to ping you. It looks like this idea has quite a bit of support. Would it maybe be feasible to look into increasing the minion drop rate and also allowing the possibility for any minion to drop, not just the super common ones (if that is indeed a thing)?
Oooh, I'll take a look at this in the next few days. can you ping me again Monday if I haven't already updated y'all here/news post? :)
I absolutely will! Thank you for looking into this! <3
Sorry but your math is off by a factor of 10 -
1 in 2000 is, true, less than a half of one percent, but it's way less.
Half a percent is 1 in 200.
What you're describing is a twentieth of a percent.
Yes, I am aware it's a smaller value.
I was saying half a percent because it's a quick and easy number for the general populace to hear on a suggestion. As you even confirmed I didnt say anything inaccurate, so I'll leave my OP as is for now :)
