(it's me i'm creature) hello! ventured into subeta last week and decided it has been long enough that i can safely say hi. i played neopets and gaiaonline in my childhood, and was more recently active on dappervolk. was curious about subeta, gave it a shot and got hooked on the avatar system and games. currently still figuring everything out, but everyone i've interacted with have been lovely so far!

curious to know: what's your favourite pet? what inspires you to choose their name, lore and favourite items, if they have specific ones? i always love hearing about the worlds and stories people build!

fellow creature (goblin) here. welcome to subeta! i also played neo & gaia back in the day & dappervolk recently. but subeta has been the most constant. i've had a few hiatuses over the years but i would guess i've spent around 10 years of my 15 active on this site

admittedly, i have spent the majority of my subeta time over the years working on outfits, collecting books, & some battling. i spend a good chunk of time on forums and lurking too, especially during holidays. i used to have some pet profiles with stories set up, but i decided to start over with them & have made little progress. mostly working on their treasure chests right now.

my very first pet was named zar'roc after the name of a sword in Eragon LOL. my favorite pets from the get go were harvesters. i still adore harvesters. funny little grim reaper guys. I still have Zar'roc, except I've renamed him Foretoken. I do have his story in my head. I planned this out when I was like 15 or 16 and intend to see it through, as his profile was the closest to finished at the time i started over with my pets.

as the years have gone by and new pets have been added, i have most loved the introduction of blobs! they were the inspiration for my gallery where i hoard cute items AKA little dudes. i am also a fan of bumbus (bumbii?) and noktoas.

inspiration for me comes when i've created a story in my head already or when i have pets that reflect my interests. my current project is Prosecutor Edgeworth because he is a fan pet. I have yet to settle on a profile idea for him & have experimented with at least 5 different layouts but I think i'm just going to have to make it from scratch. but yeah since edgeworth is an established fictional character, it is a little easier to go about making his treasure chest & whatnot since i can think of what that actual character likes. i'm also currently going about trying to get more pets. i recently added a nostalgic cybill (who is named creature, funnily enough) bc it looks like a furby & im kind of going through the whole "omg remember these things i liked as a kid???" phase

anyway that's a long rant to say that I have so much inspiration & still so much to do. after 15 years on this site, i still have plenty to do! and i still have several pet slots i need to use, so this makes me want to go through all the pets & their colors again. so in a way your post just asking about inspiration was an inspiration to me :P sorry for the massive wall of text. feel free to reach out if you wanna chat :)
