...that the pet colors Dawn and Dusk are named in reverse of how those things look irl?
i don't know about anyone else, but where i'm from, dawn is just the sky going from dark blue to a very pale and luminous yellowy-greenish-blue, and dusk is when you get those pretty peachy-pinky-purpley hues.
i know they're just color names and not actually meant to literally represent dawn or dusk, but it's just something i've always noticed.
I'm not an expert on meteorology but I believe the color of the sky at dawn and dusk is related to the air pressure, so it may well be related to the climate you are in
There's a related saying of 'Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning; Red Sky at night, sailor's delight' for 'forecasting' the likely weather based on the colors of the sky at dawn/dusk.
