Hi, my son's gf is a great artist and wanted to draw me a little piece of art for one of my pets. However, they do not have a Subeta account, nor a DA account, so...how would I give them credit on my pet's profile please? TIA :)
This is a good question! Do they any kind of social media presence for their art? I would think if they have any linkable presence you could use that. If not, just their name perhaps?
Let me ping the pet spotlight group for you in case anyone there already knows the answer for sure!
I've used some art from a friend's daughter on one of my pet profiles (the friend is on Subeta, her daughter wasn't at the time), so I just linked her Mum's account and said it was her daughter's artwork.
If your son's gf doesn't have any online presence that they're happy with being linked, then I would've thought the best bet would be to credit with their name (either their real name, or nickname - whichever they prefer).

- thank you both for your replies! They don't have any online account I can link to (as far as I know, I will check on that for sure later).
If I am allowed to use just their real name, I will do that - but I wanted to be sure what the rules are :)
I looked over the spotlight rules and spotlight sticky in the forums and couldn't find an answer, so I'm going to ping and for you since they're the ones on the spotlight sticky.
& Hello and hope you're still the right folks to ping with this! PUNK has a great question I couldn't find the answer to and would appreciate some guidance! (I'm sure this may come up for others so I'll also share this answer in the Pet Spotlight Support group!
If the artist who made your profile art doesn't have an online presence, how should they be credited? Should we just list their name? Also state "no online presence"?
Thank you so much!
personally, I just try my best and that is usually good since the people judging our profiles are human and know we are human. I would ask the gf how she wants to be credited and if she doesn’t know I would say “by my son’s gf insertnamehere“.
Good luck.
Drawn by offline artist, or her name, or son's gf - anything like that would work!
