Hey guys, as the subject line says, I'm technically new here, but was too shy to really post an introductory topic immediately after joining. I find these kinds of sites great fun, and a good way to unwind. Not to mention I adore the art. :3 I may not post all too often, but I feel at least good to post a proper hello.

So, hi! I'm Sea, and its nice to be here. I like video games, online games (browser or otherwise) and cute animals, real or imaginary. Technically I'm a couple of days into joining, but....you know. As stated, I'm shy.

Well, Pokemon and Fire Emblem are big series on my favourites list. Spiralling off from that, I also play Persona and Shin Megami Tensei titles from Atlus, and those are on my top games list. Among other things...like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory. XD You could say my tastes cast quite the wide net.

Might be juvenile for a young adult, but hey, I don't really care about what others think of my game choices x3

Oooh, besides SMT and Persona (nothing against them, just haven't tried them myself) those are all some of my favorite game franchises too! :D I've been itching for news on upcoming releases for Fire Emblem, Rune Factory, and Story of Seasons in particular lately!

Riiiight. Story of Seasons I meant xD The Harvest Moon franchise is a different one now (sort of). Also SMT and Persona are...on the harder end of RPGs. Or at least SMT is. I play it when I want something a bit more difficult. Persona's difficulty varies, usually depending on both game and which diffculty you're playing on.

Also as for news, I've been antsy for some news on those lately too.

I still refer to SoS as Harvest Moon all the time - it's a hard habit to break! 🤭 The new Harvest Moon games still have their fair share of fans, though I haven't played any of them personally. I played a lot of the Harvest Moon games pre-Story of Seasons name change, though! Magical Melody on the Gamecube especially has a special place in my heart. I've heard that they can be tough! Despite playing a lot of video games, I wouldn't say I'm good at them, so I'm not sure how I'd fare 😆 the soundtracks for both are really good from what I've heard!

I'm hopeful for Rune Factory news this year~ Did you watch the Marvelous (SoS and RF devs) presentation back in May 2023? :0 It had previews on their upcoming projects, and since it's been nearly a year it feels like we're due for some more news any time now!

No I don't believe I did watch that...I didn't even know they did presentations. :O I also owned Magical Melody when I was younger, before we had to move and I got rid of my Gamecube.

Also yes, the Soundtracks for Persona and SMT are pretty great, if I may say. :D Then again, that's rather subjective, and I'm extremely biased towards the series as a whole.

I don't think they do many, as I'm not sure if I can recall another one, but this one had some pretty big information drops in it! Both for RF and SoS, and other things in the works. Yes, a MM remake would be brilliant, tbh. It was a great game, but I could never get far because of how obscure some of the notes could be. And because I was a bit of a mess when I played it, my mind was all over the place and I didn't know I had Asperger's Syndrome back then so I would always fidget when I played and get bored after maybe an hour x3
